Took about 30 minutes to assemble. Comes with Instructions, little wrench, hardware and assembly is very easy done on the rug. Only tweaks I had to make required utility scissors to "unscrew" bottom thread once inserted to make it long enough to "catch" the bolt assembly from the bottom ( but after - realized you could do this easily by hand). Also replaced chandelier incandescent bulbs (included) with LED 40 watt fan daylight bulbs for 120 watts worth of light in a dark corner. I use these bulbs everywhere. Little designer trick is to tape of tops and spray with chrome paint. I like the diffused look you can see here with darkening light at top of shade. I would hate the plastic lampshades, but they are thick and light diffusing ... and don't look bad at all. Used with the low heat LED bulbs they work!

The lamp is very pretty BUT, it hardly puts out any light:( The lightbulbs they give you are 40 watts and that is all it is supposed to take so you can't go any higher in wattage and it burns HOT. I'm going to change out the bulbs for LED ones and see if I like it better. Also, assembly is fairly easy but there are no instructions which would have come in handy at the very end when I was trying to connect the stand to the base. One screw on the end of the stand was shorter than the other one and I couldn't figure out how to screw it on. I then noticed that the screw unscrewed to the same length as the other one and I was able to put it together without any problems. I'd say it's a good-looking lamp if you want an accent and don't need much light.

There's a plastic insert that stabilizes the metal base, and you're supposed to stick the "legs" of the lamp through holes in both the metal and plastic insert, then each leg through a washer before screwing on a nut...all in order to keep the lamp standing upright and stable. But the threaded parts of the lamp's legs *barely* extend through the plastic insert! That means you can't screw the nuts on, not even one turn.My lamp is currently leaning up against a wall as I try to imagine solutions short of returning it. That'll be my last resort because the light itself is beautiful!

Assembly is pretty straightforward once you realize that the threads on the end of the rods can be adjusted for length by screwing them in or out, then its cake!It's a great modern looking lamp at a great price!

This is easy to put together and very sturdy. The reviews which complain about the length of the rod that goes through the base did not realize these are adjustable... they can be threaded farther in or farther out of the support pole... with your fingers. Obviously, with shipping they are unlikely to be in the perfect position when the lamp arrives, but it is easy to adjust if you are aware of it.

This is the very 1st time I wasn't excited about my purchase. First 1 of the 3 bulbs arrived broke. Second it took me longer than anticipated to assemble because there are no instructions and I pride myself on improvising but my efforts were sub par.Each time I screwed in a leg, the next leg became loose. That happen for about a half hour. The right side of the leg took some braining storming but eventually I got it in the.The end result is that it finally together and now I have to replace to broken bulb.

it took me a while to understand why none of the hardware would fit on the base! you may have to loosen the threading to get all the hardware to fit and tighten.

I was looking for a nice light that would stand up in the corner behind the sectional for me to put a red,blue & green bulb in. This fits the bill perfectly. I've had this lamp probably over six months now or longer and I haven't shut the red bulb off once and most of the time the other two are on as well. No problems with the lamp once. This color setup is super chill and relaxing. I recommend trying it.

love the lamp, looks great, just the look i was looking for. We ended up facing the lights upwards and it looks even better in our location.It was easy to put together and i was so pleased with the order i ended up ordering one more.

Very happy with the lamp comes with incandescent bulb though. Not happy with Amazon we thought this was a Canadian Purchase and ended up with a bill to over $100 import duty
