Bought for my son, loves these toys. Don't expect extremely high quality or loaded with features but as cheap robot very young kids would love it.

The media could not be loaded. This robot is pretty cute. It comes with the batteries and a small screwdriver to unscrew the battery cover to install the batteries into the back of the robot’s head. . The wrist remote has the battery installed already, just remove the little tab to activate it. When the robot is first turned on, it is in remote control mode. So you use the directional arrows on the wrist remote to move it around. The robot moves very slowly so that could get boring quickly if your child likes fast moving toys. The programming mode allows you to use the arrow buttons to record a sequence of movements that you want the robot to make in the execution mode. The learning mode allows the robot to dance, tell a story, play music, or teach a short lesson…all of these are pre-programmed. There is no volume control but it wasn’t too loud. The record button on the robot’s belly is supposed to allow you to say something that the robot will immediately repeat. This didn’t function well for me. I could kinda hear it repeating what I said but it was faint and not clear. It also didn’t record the entire sentence…so that part was disappointing. The robot states it is made for kids 6+ years but I feel a younger child would get more enjoyment out of it. Obviously an adult would need to monitor the child since it is designed for older children. I just think my grandsons who are 6 & 7 might get bored pretty quickly with this…they are energetic and this toy isn’t. 😆 I could be surprised though, they visit me next month so I will see then. For a younger child, I could see that they might be more interested in the toy for a longer period of time. It is pretty cute when the robot dances but it is short lived. Overall, this toy would be great for a low energy or younger child, in my opinion. Supervise the playtime though if you allow a younger child to play with it, just because the manufacturer recommended it for 6+ years. The toy is relatively sturdy if it is being used as it is designed. If a child was throwing it or playing roughly with it, it could get damaged.

I rate this robot as 2.5 (rounding up to 3) stars for now because it has the potential to be a really fun toy. It looks cool and the lights and voice features are impressive, but it appears that this may have been a returned item. The tape on the box was taped over, as if someone had already opened it and re-taped it back up, and then the battery in the watch control didn't have a protective tab, so the battery must have died out, rendering the watch and robot pretty much useless. Since we didn't have a spare battery for the watch on hand, it severely limited what could be done. Also, the button on the stomach didn't really work; the robot barely repeated anything or moved as instructed.

This is a well built robot, has an on and off switch and is controlled by a remote that's worn as a watch.My kids preferred to hold the watch rather than wear it. It's durable, have been playing with it for a month now and it's still going strong.

The fun little robot is ready to use. Batteries needed for the remote. The directions are clear. The grandson had fun recording requests for the dog in an effort to get the dog to respond. So much fun.
