Easy to install, complicated options
These are pretty straightforward to install. Ground to ground (if you have one - it doesn't appear to be necessary for this to work, but I do have one), black wire from the wall to the black, and black wire to your light/fan/etc to the red. Note that it does not require a neutral/white wire to work (like a lot of smart switches and such). They are a little on the large side (probably twice the size of a regular switch) but unless your box is very tight or shallow then you should have room (I have a few timer switches that are even bigger than these, so they're not the largest I've seen). The complexity comes in the options. They're all set by various combinations of the main big button and the little button in the corner, so check the directions for how to do that. There are four main modes:1. Motion detection disabled/regular switch (ie the big button is an on/off toggle switch and works as you'd expect)2. Motion detection enabled (motion turns it on and it stays on for a set amount of time after last detecting things before automatically turning off)3. Motion detection and light detection enabled (it doesn't turn on if it detects light more than set amount, even if it detects motion)4. Turns on only with the big button (not via motion) and then turns off after a set time unless it detects motionI believe that's correct in my reading of the directions (you can see them in the pictures). You appear to be able to set the different light sensitivity and motion sensitivity levels, as well as how long the delay/set time is that the lights stay on. It's a bit complicated, so keep track of the directions for later.Feel free to do some trial/error on getting your settings right. If you screw it up too bad you can always do the factory reset steps to start over.

No more hassle of turning ON/OFF manually
This motion sensor wall switch looks elegant and easy to install. It does not need a neutral wire which makes it easy for installation. I was able to remove my switch in one of my closet and now its auto turn ON/OFF with this new motion sensor switch. The package came with two switches, required wire nuts, face plates and a manual for installation. After installing the switch, it was able to detect the motion quickly and turning ON immediately. I set the default 30s timer which auto OFF the lights if no motion is detected within 30 seconds which worked great. The downsides are, the face plate and the inside plate are given together in the package which was very hard to remove them. This could be one of the improvement in the package. Another thing noticed is, when the motion is detected, it makes a little bit audible sound rather than quietly turning ON/OFF compared to my lutron switches.Overall, they look super cool, easy to install and happy with the lights.

Works perfect, and with a little creativity, you can make it even better!
I added this switch to our hall that leads to our downstairs restroom, so it turns on the hallway light as you enter. It works awesome! Unlike other switches that have a dials on the back of them that you have to adjust before screwing the switch to the wall, with this one, you just make a series of long presses to adjust the settings you want, like how long you want the light to stay on after motion detected, etc. You can even decrease the sensitivity which I did as well. And here's the cool part -- my switch is right next to the living room, so the 180 degree field of is overkill, meaning that anyone walking by in the living room would set it off, as opposed to walking down the hallway. So, I took a piece of white electrical tape and covered exactly half of the sensor window. This limits the sensors field of view to 90 degrees, and now it only turns on when someone is in the hallway, not in the living room. Couldn't ask for anything better! I have it turning on an LED retrofit ceiling light in the hallway.

You get two for less than the price of one!
Just one of these motion sensor light switches at the big box store was almost $30. I found these on Amazon and they come in a two pack for even less! They are super easy to install... less than five minutes for me and that includes looking for a screwdriver. There are only three wires - red, green and black. The green is ground which you don't have to use if there is not already a ground wire on your existing light switch. The instructions are good. The sensitivity is perfect right out of the box. One interesting thing: when the sensor recognizes movement, there is a faint green light that flashes slowly. No more fumbling for the light switch - it pops the light on automatically. You can turn it off manually with a slight press of the oval section or it will turn off by itself in about two minutes.I really like these automatic switches.

perfect for some older homes that you cant get 4 wires.
Im no electrician so I cant comment on to how safe this is, but I did buy some 4 wire pid switches for my older 1900s home and could not get them to wire in. These seem to be working of so far.If anything changes I will update this review

Occupancy sensor switch does not require ground or neutral
Occupancy sensor installed easily. Turn off the power and connect three wires, black (line), red (load), and green (ground). Good for older houses that do not have neutral lines. I connected the ground for added safety. Default mode is occupancy mode, meaning the switch will turn on if it is dark and if motion is detected. Switch will turn off when no motion is detected after a set period of time. Instructions were clear and it was easy to change the modes, time delay, and light sensor sensitivity. It's worked great and has operated exactly how I have set it. Without a neutral, the switch is always hot / on as it needs to maintain a minimum voltage to power the PIR sensor. If you have a neutral wire, you should get the version that requires a neutral wire. Pretty good value for about $13 a switch.
