However, you can achieve the effect you're looking for by using your mobile device or computer to play a video and display photos simultaneously on your TV using the ScreenCast 4K. 1. Connect the ScreenCast 4K to Your TV: Plug the ScreenCast 4K Wireless Display Adapter into an available HDMI port on your TV and power it using a USB port on the TV or a USB power adapter. 2. Set Up Screen Mirroring: Use your mobile device or computer to connect to the ScreenCast 4K using the screen mirroring or casting feature. Depending on your device's operating system (e.g., Android, iOS, Windows, macOS), you can use technologies like Miracast, AirPlay, or Google Cast (Chromecast) to mirror your screen to the TV. 3. Play Video: On your mobile device or computer, open the video you want to play. Start playing the video, and it should be mirrored to the TV. 4. Display Photos: While the video is playing on the TV, you can display photos on your mobile device or computer. Depending on your device, you can use a photo slideshow app or simply swipe through your photos in a gallery app. 5. Turn on your TV to power up the ScreenCast. Select your TV's input/source until you see the setup screen. *If your TV screen remains black, your TV may not be supplying enough power. In this case, please plug the USB cord into a USB power adapter and connect it to an outlet.

Q: Do I have to install or download any passwords, apps, QR codes or software?

If you want to connect the ScreenCast to Your HDTV, there will be a setup screen and you should see ScreenCast's SSID and input the PW number shown below the SSID on the home screen.
