Coolest very cheap product I have bought in awhile
Works great with lots of useful information. FYI if you have trouble reading very small text the screen with the most info does have very small text. There is a second screen with key info with much bigger text.

Good but wish did not do averaging on the readings
Good value for the money, with fast update rate for the values shown. Large colorful numbers, easy to read at a distance.Wish it would automatically orient the display (you have to double press the back button to change upside down or the other way up).Was not expecting averaging on the readout, which negates the fast update rate, so when voltage or current change abruptly it takes a second or two for the displayed numbers to settle on the new value. For the price it is still worth it (but wish it had zero averaging).

Awesome little device!
This thing is way advanced, for 12 bucks ...Note that there are three different versions. This is review is for the "mid-sized" version, which allows you to flip between three different views, including a simple view (volts, amps, watts) and a graph, that shows the values over time.I am using the meter for working with (Arduino) microcontrollers. There is essentially no effort to use the device, just plug it in inline. Clicking the switch one switches screens, and a double-click rotates the screen 180 degrees. Easy!Basic power usage is fundamental in electronics, especially when designing ... seeing a real-time (or historical graph) of current usage is extremely helpful for knowing what the device is doing. (Burning CPU, just hanging out, sleeping, flashing.)As a simple example, I had a board that I could not tell if it was dead, or was running some "silent" program, and I was somehow not able to see it on my system. This sort of thing can be really frustrating! In my case, plugging in the power meter told me immediately that the board was not drawing power (dead), and the issue was clearly hardware, not software. It also just LOOKS cool. Highly recommend!

These have some quality control issues
Like the title says. If you get one that works, it works great. But not every unit they send out works. The first one they sent me was dead on arrival, so I returned it for a replacement from Amazon, and the second one worked great. One thing to be aware of though, type-c power cables don't transmit power unless they're connected to something that draws power, so the meter doesn't come on unless you actually have a device plugged into it.

Very Nice Diagnostic Tool - Find your bad USB-C Cables.
This is great. Tells me how power and current each of my devices pulls. Help me identify an Apple Watch puck that couldn't delivery any current.

Buy this one!
I have bought tens of these meters, from all different makers. This one is hands down the best. Great price too.

Bought this after reading the Zdnet review, It works great!
I bought this after reading the Zdnet review. I can now measure the performance of the various USB chargers and cables.
