Nice little book. Emphasis on little.
This is a nice little collection of essays and this full series would look lovely on a bookshelf at work. However, keep in mind: These books are tiny. TINY. They are just a short collection of essays and studies. It is a lot of money for very little content. But as you can see from my rating, if you are fine with the smallness of this series, it’s aesthetically wonderful to look at and the content, while small, is good. This book (and the series) would make a nice addition to one’s workplace personal bookshelf.

Concise!
A Very concise read! A positive way to take a step back and become more introspective of both positives and negatives ways in which we handle Difficult People.

Great read
I liked the organization of the book, the case studies and break down of what works and what may escalate conflict. It has allowed me to reflect on my own actions and a better way to go about working with difficult people.

Not bad, but not great
I think we all feel like we expect a lot from a Harvard Business Review piece. This book is overpriced for what you get. It's a short--very short--collection of essays, some of which end abruptly, and only touch lightly on some important subjects. I found Gerzon's piece on "hot vs cold" conversations and Gallo's piece on passive-aggressive employees most useful. For newcomers to business communications, this might be useful, but if you've been studying for years, and in business for years, this will serve only as a quick review. Again, I don't think it's worth the sticker price, but then again, you can always get something out of anything you read. Good luck!

Great Readings for People Who Needs Neutral Advice
I like how this book provide a perception that I did not have before. This book is good for a worker who already try to find solution to improve their working environment through finding better communication ways with their peers or supervisor.

Where’s My Money!
Simplistic oatmeal! Gives no insight into what makes unpleasant people tick. Nor does it provide a system to deal with these nasty sorts.Turning every cheek in your body is the most counter productive and self harming way to deal with heels.
