They worked well once we got them to loosen up. Struts were stuck , but just needed to move them around and push down.

Used them for retractable spare tire that weighs about 75 lbs in all butt ended up just to powerful . Quality made fit was perfect. Just can’t use for my perpose

These are useless without hardware... picture clearly shows brackets needed to mount but product shipped incomplete.

I got these struts to lift the new mattress in our RV so we can access the under-bed storage area better. They are well made, mine came with bolts for fasteners but I'll likely use wood screws instead. They are offered in different lengths and lifting capacities, so choose wisely. Here's the issue: The mattresses that come with new RV's are typically very thin and uncomfortable but light. We got an amazing mattress from Wilderness (RV Mattress manufacturer) but it is easily over 100 lbs. Our RV came equipped with a single 20" lift rod that can't lift the new mattress. The solution is dual lift rods, and these came in a set of two so problem solved. We will need to get dual 20" 100lb. struts bug again, these are great, and I know I will have another use for them. I will not hesitate to order this brand when I get the heavier version.
