Plantronics Blackwire C3220 Headset

I love everything about this headset except that it is corded and I knew that before I bought it. The sound, comfort, all of it is great.

I have been using these for years now... I bought another pair to keep in my bag for when I go to the office..... They are light weight... love the mute button and easy to use with any phone software... No echoing of my voice back to me on calls and everyone says I am sounding perfect on them.... So don't spend big bucks on so called noise cancelling ones... these work just fine and I love that I can slide one ear piece back off my ear if I only want to use one side.... The microphone can be turned to either side... and the mic is bendable as I like mine to bend way outward... Highly recommend.

I thought I could use this on a phone that has a USB-C and no 3.5mm jack. I have been using a pair of old Sennheiser headphones with the inline controls which worked fine, but I hated using the dongle so figured I would get this Plantronics headset so I would not have to dongle. It did not work.I can listen to music fine, and the microphone works okay, but the giant inline control module does not play/pause music, nor does it answer or hang up the phone.The cord is also too long to use as a phone headset - a full 6 feet long. The giant inline controls sits just above my pocket when my phone's in there. Returning it. I assume it is only made for use on laptops and computers.I would rate it 3 stars since it should mention that it is made for computers and not phones. But, I am rating it 5 stars to make up for the person who, despite not knowing what USB-C is, bought a USB-C headset and received a USB-C headset, then rated it 1 star because it was a USB-C headset.

Works great, fits eh. Seriously, the sound is great and in haven't had any issues with that. The set it a little klunky though and feels like it's twenty years old in style. Huge ear pads and an adjustable headset band work great. On a virtual conference it's super visible. Not a deal killer, just know that ahead of time if you are looking for something low profile.

I typically record my podcast with a Blue Yeti microphone. The sound quality is great, but it picks up everything - meaning that in the winter or summer I have to record with either the heat or the AC off.Needless to say this is a bit uncomfortable. The sound quality from this isn’t anywhere close to the Yeti, but it’s still good. That said, I can run the AC full blast and this won’t pick up even a whisper from it. So, safe to say, on extra cold or hot days, I’ll definitely be switching to this headset.

Left ear started failing after 1.5 years, got no response from product support and didn't hear from them until I was outside of their "product support window".

Does what's needed well, well made, fits well. All around goodness. I love these, these are my top Go-To sets, great for travel (which is why I have to buy them so often, it's rough on all electronics).

I work from home and needed to replace my headset. I no longer have an issue with clients not being able to hear me. Wish I would’ve purchased this a long time ago, very comfortable.
