Wild & Fuzzy Velvet Pencil, Packge of 60

Our 11-year old son LOVES these pencils. We first started out purchasing the Safari fuzzy pencils but found that they were pretty expensive at around $1 per pencil. We found this 60-pack with added eraser bonus and thought we'd give it a try. Other than the lack of variety in safari animal prints, these pencils have become a new favorite and are much more reasonable given the 3 for $1 price tag. My son loves the feel of these pencils when he's doing school work and sketching. He's given them out to his friends and everyone seems to be enjoying them. We have a pretty great electric sharpener and haven't had any problems with the pencils not sharpening well or breaking/jamming the sharpener. The eraser works great and the pencils write evenly and well. As a Speech Pathologist, I think I'll invest in more and use them for my sensory kiddos in my classroom. Anything we can do to encourage our kids to write more is great and these pencils definitely motivate kids to have them in their hands.

Good pencils with erasers that work well. Good deal, nice feel, seem to sharpen OK. Our electric sharpener sounds like it's working slightly harder to sharpen them, but they don't cause it jam.

My electric pencil sharpener broke after sharpening 30 of these. Then a battery operated one would also not work with them . I got blisters on my fingers from using a manual sharpener. Three of the 60 did not have lead in them.

My students love fuzzy pencils. When I saw this item I had to buy it, especially because it comes with 60 pencils. I was thoroughly thrilled with the product but I took off one star for shipping. I know this product was coming all the way from the west coast, to the east coast for me, but I received an email saying it had been shipped about a week and a half/two weeks before receiving my pencils. Otherwise I LOVE the product.

Great pencils, kids enjoy them. Great gifts to pass out to their class mates.

While they are nice to look at and hold, the erasers fall and break off VERY easily and they need to be sharpened very frequently. Will not be buying these again!
