No swivel ability.
This mount seemed at first like it would be a good buy. But it's an incredibly simple 1-piece plastic mold. Which means there is way to turn your flashlight so it's in front of you.Unless you have a perfectly straight handlebar, and mount it as close to centre as possible, you're not going to get the flashlight beam to be facing forward. As since we all know there is no such thing as a perfectly straight handlebar, that makes this product pointless. The only way I can see this being useful, is if you already have a handlebar extension (that is straight) and mount it to that.

simple concept, but well implemented
i've been wanting a flashlight mount for my bike, as the dedicated bike light systems aren't cheap, and i already have a collection of nice flashlights and headlamps. being able to mount one of my surefires or fenix lights on my bike is really satisfying and having a strong flashlight mounted on the handlebars with a nice headlamp on my helmet is a great pair to light up the night for evening rides.

Works well with my rechargable flashlights!
This is a great upgrade to my bike. I have some very bright rechargeable flashlights, and the one I had for the bike was difficult to remove to swap out batteries and seemed dim when compared to many of the lights I have that are also waterproof or water resistant. The straps are nice and flexible allowing me to get a snug fit and fit multiple flashlights, so if one is charging, I can grab another and zip off down the road, while remaining visible. If I could make two changes, it would be to set this up for tool-less installation, and captive nuts. That would make it much easier to install or to swap between bikes.Pros:flexible strapsVelcro seems sturdyThis fits the thick handle of my mountain bike and clamps down small enough for others I own.Cons:Not tool-less installNuts aren't captive and I dropped them at least once prepping to install (I glued them in place with E-6000 so they are now captive)

Feels Cheap, Tiny Nuts to Lose
Getting this onto the bike was a PITA. The tiny nuts aren't fixed to the holder. You've got to hold them in place and hope you don't accidentally drop them during the install, if you do, they are gone forever. If these were fixed to the holder with some super glue or epoxy it would be better. I think there are better and more secure manners of holding a flashlight to my bike. It's pretty janky looking too. Not enough rubber to hold all flashlights in place.

Great Item, Decent Value
The build of this item is well-constructed and the straps are decent for now. The adjustments for the straps and mounting seem to be stable enough to house even the thicker flashlights that we use, and altogether it is a solid mount. My only gripe is the value of the item as $16 is a lot to spend for a mount, and when there are so many options around the internet there may be too much competition. Still, I do recommend this item and will continue to see just how durable it is.

Works great on my full suspension bike
I think this is a great thing, because my handheld flashlight is brighter than the bike like I have. It works great even on trails. I think running trails on a rigid bike would probably not work unless you mount the CG directly above the bars. Used it a few times and have had zero issues.
