Let’s face it, while the Omnipod 5 can change your life in the best possible way, the controller case that comes with it hardly lights up your life. This silicone case, on the other hand, brings distinctive colors, texture, and style to the sometime drudgery of managing your diabetes. The hand feel when you pick it up goes from, “meh,” to, “Oh. . . Yeah!” The visual, from fading into the background to, “Aha! There it is!” The distinctive colors shine through. The subtle corner reinforcement adding some style, strength, and protection ups the game.My only ding is the mold line detracts from the elegance but it is slightly mitigated because it affords a more secure grip.This cover even provides an opening for the camera lens in the back. Imagine being able to take a picture of the food you are about to eat and the Omnipod Controller automatically computes the carbs and pushes a bolus. Sadly they haven’t programmed it to do that, but we can dream. It will happen soon enough and this cover is ready for it and adds style, color, protection, and verve to relieve the daily chore of managing our diabetes.

This case is a nice shade of blue. It is made of a soft silicone material. The overall design makes me think that this was designed with an actual cell phone in mind. The PDM does fit though the edges are a little flimsy and case is a bit thin. It doesn't have a screen protector, so I recommend having one for extra screen protection.
