These are okay....
I have inserts in all of my shoes so I know what I like and these aren't it although I did keep them - they're in my Crocs... I like my inserts hard and to be able to feel them under my instep so that I know they are working, these are very soft. Saying that, some reviewers have said that the ones I like are too hard so these may be okay for them.
