Smooth operation
Time will tell because the reason I gave it 4 star's is I am replacing a broken lock that was only a year old so hope this one last longer it is the same lock

Won’t latch
This was not easy to assemble. I don’t even think hiring someone will work. You will need tools to cut the screws and the square spindle. The latch works fine if you just try it with the spindle square stick thing but once you screw in both the lock and handle the latch gets stuck and goes out like half way or don’t come out at all. The lock is useless if you can just shove the door open. I can’t return since I already cut the screws and spindle. I bought another lock similar to this but with a knob and that one works fine and pretty user friendly to assemble. I wanted a handle this time and thought this would be similar. I was so wrong.

Great Door Lock!
Installed this combination door lock in my front entry that has a wrought iron gate. Love the fact you can unlock the gate from inside or outside since combination numbers are on both sides.
