Flavor Name:Medium Roast | Size:12 Ounce (1-Pack) The best coffee experience was born in the shadows of the Três Pontas mountains in Brazil with the benefits of using fair-trade standards. Our premium-quality coffee is named Três Pontas out of respect for the ideal geographical requirements for coffee bean cultivation in Brazil and the single-farm source we use that resides there. Using 100-percent pure Brazilian Arabica coffee beans, Três Pontas provides the freshest product on the market with farm-to-cup quality while being socially responsible and improving the lives of growers on the farm and in the community growing the beans. All of our coffee beans are bought directly from individual coffee farmers, with no middlemen, brokers, distributors or wholesalers. We pay these farms a premium price to provide a better life for their workers and families. You will appreciate the quality control and unique flavors that result from human interaction in every stage of coffee processing. The Três Pontas brand is proud that our Arabica coffee beans are grown, harvested and processed according to the highest standards and carefully reviewed to ensure that only the best beans make the cut. Machines are frequently employed during roasting. But, machines have no senses. They work on a timer. They can’t see, smell or build on the years of experience it takes to master the delicate roasting process. All of Três Pontas’ beans are roasted by hand in small batches, a labor-intensive method that provides the unique flavor profile in each bag that you, the gourmet coffee enthusiast, deserve. Coffee flavor profiles vary by regional origin, but generally Brazilian Arabica coffee’s taste has dark chocolate, caramel, and smoky notes. Três Pontas is third-party verified Non-GMO by the Non-GMO Project and certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union to ensure safety and quality. Want to see where your coffee comes from? Every package of Três Pontas coffee contains a QR code, that when scanned provides a satellite view of the farm.

Not Fresh
I've heard this coffe advertised on podcasts, and they always say that it's fresh roasted - even if you buy it off of Amazon. I've been drinking coffee made from fresh roasted beans for over 10 years, so I know how freshly roasted beans smell and act in hot water. This ain't it.First warning: the bag had no roasted date. This was my first indication that the beans might be old. Second, the beans smelled stale.Lastly, when I made my first cup in an aeropress, there was zero bloom. Usually I have to stop the water a bit before the top of the container because of all the bubbling. In this case I ran the water all the way to the top, and there were zero bubbles. This is exactly how beans from the grocery store act when they've several months old.Unsurprisingly the taste was unimpressive as well. Because this is a light roast it wasn't bitter or anything, it just had no character. It was just.... flat. Not buying again.

Really Good Coffee
I really like this coffee. I believe it to be overpriced, but so are 95% of most other things in this world.I grind my coffee fresh every morning before I French Press it. On a side note, I have ground this coffee for standard drip coffee machines, and I found it to be equally as good.My experience with making really good coffee at home has taught me that buying whole bean coffee and grinding it yourself is the best way to get the most flavor out of your cup of joe. I've also learned that once you open a sealed bag of coffee beans, that they need to be used rather quickly, within a couple of weeks, three at most. Any longer than that, and they start going stale, they start to loose their flavor. This brings me to the best thing that I like about these coffee beans....I love the fact that they come in three small 12 oz bags. The size of the bag is just right for me to use up in about a two week time frame, so that the coffee never has a chance to go stale. I've tried other brands of coffee before that were really good, and at a good price. But they bags they came in were too big, 1 lb, 2 lb & even 5 lb bags. I couldn't use the coffee fast enough before it starting going stale. I tried different means of storing and resealing in separate containers, but nothing seemed to help. Once you unseal a bag of coffee beans, the freshness timer starts ticking, three weeks at most. The nice rich flavor combined with the size of the bags has kept me coming back to this coffee time and time again. I've been ordering this from amazon for several months now, and will probably continue doing so for quiet some time.

I quit BlueBottle once I tasted this
I was a BlueBottle subscriber and converted to Trespontas. I am not a coffee expert - I just know what I like. I had tried 5 or 6 different BlueBottle offerings and could not find one that really hit the spot. Once I tried Trespontas - the BlueBottle subscription was canceled. BlueBottle is slicker packaging, but Trespontas beat them on taste and price…I can't drink the package…I did test taste via Amazon and then went to the Trespontas web site to set up a subscription.BTW - I do pour over preparation. I prepare 1-2 cups per day (usually 2) and my subscription is for 12 oz every 2 weeks. Just about perfect to have fresh roasted, fresh ground coffee every day.

When we put it in our Miele CM6350 not only did it make very rich tasting coffee it also made an excellent espresso. I was extremely surprised at the richness ...
We usually purchase a much darker roasted bean in bulk quantity and I was not sure how this would taste since it was not a dark roasted oily bean. When we put it in our Miele CM6350 not only did it make very rich tasting coffee it also made an excellent espresso. I was extremely surprised at the richness of the flavor and amazed that there was no bitterness. There really is a difference in having freshly roasted coffee versus the product we purchase in bulk. I will definitely purchase this again!!!!

Roasted after you order it! Hallelujah!!! Fantastic coffee!
My wife says I’m a coffee snob. She may be right, but, I do like good coffee. This is, by far, one of the best coffees I’ve ever drank. Single sourced, not blended, pulped natural, you pick the roast...I bought it for several friends and wrecked their store bought, stale, dead coffee drinking for ever. One of my friends is roasting his own beans and is experimenting with different, expensive beans. However, as of now, this is still one of the best coffees (if not the best) I’ve had. Fresh roasted, French press, 203 degrees (F)...It just doesn’t get any better than this...

Over priced and over roasted
I ordered a light roast, but received medium to dark medium. If they consider this a light roast, I would hate to see the dark one because it would be burned coal. I do not believe this coffee was roasted after my order, I think it was roasted at the same time for a few different orders and just sorted and put stickers regardless of what roast customers wanted. The smell is very disappointing too, I bought a better smelling and tasting coffee from my local Meijer and it was much cheaper too.I do not know who wrote these reviews and what coffee they drank before this one.

great mild coffee flavor with no aftertaste.
My first experience with this coffee was with a drip maker. Since I ground the beans too fine I had to filter through a Stanley french press. With 1 tablespoon per 6oz water the resulting black coffee was mild with a nice coffee flavor and no aftertaste. Truvia and half and half did not change the flavor and was not necessary. Since I like a stronger coffee I'll need to experiment with more coffee and longer steep times.Using french press I tried 2 table spoons per 6ox hot water and 4 minutes steep time.because of the design of the press I only got 6 of the 12 oz of hot water. The coffee was indeed stronger but the same flavor and no aftertaste. VERY NICE.

Not cheap but a lovely bean and roast
I prefer the medium roast here, which brings out the notes to the nose and the finish on the palate more effectively than the other options.
