Very very happy with the product! I purchased this cord for the soul purpose of lacing up a collar to my hatchet. After I laced the collar, I was very pleased with the look and durability. Several weeks passed, and after the leather from the collar had naturally stretched, I attempted to really pull the and tighten the cord to give the collar a nice and snug fit. I was very impressed that it did not break! This is a very strong cord! Well worth the price, and I cannot wait to use the rest of the spool for future projects!The picture I have added was taken after I tightened the lace.

This cord is a little wide for the project I had planned (my error), but it's lovely, supple, dark and slightly distressed. I've not seen anything else quite like it and I'm sure I'm going to find all kinds of places to use it! Many thanks to the seller for shipping it super fast!!

Strong enough for most uses. I use this for many different things & ways. You can too. Price is good. Your needs & outcome may vary from mine !!

Worked great, for what I wanted to do. I wanted to weave w/it :) I don't know that I would use it as a single strand cord. I pulled a little too hard, apparently, & it snapped. I reduced my level of pull & found that I loved ths result! Cannot wait to try other combos; braiding, macrame...I am very pleased.

Strong leather cord, nice rich color. Kind of a weird smell when you first open it, but honestly, I find that true of all leather cording. Within a week, the smell dissipates so no issue there. Already made some cute ankle bracelets for my nieces.

The product is really nice. This is my second order. It looks great with small delicate beads and double wrap bracelets. I did not encounter any smells. It was odorless when I received both orders and they were placed in a three-month difference.

This is pretty good cord. It is durable but will break if to rough or bead over the same spot multiple times. It works for what I need and I would purchase again

...AND the color is just what is says, "Dark Brown Distressed"--not at all "black". Interpreted correctly, "Dark Brown Distressed" means a rich warm brown color accentuated by lengths of darkened brown giving a nice patina to the leather.Great stuff!
