Cheap synthetic motor oil!?!?
Like many of us we always look for a cheap products to try out... so i gave this oil a try. I used this on 2 different cars, tacoma and a lexus is250. Both cars are daily driven and used on long drives. My 07 tacoma will sometimes burn a little oil depending on brand of oil and driving conditions. So i wanted to see if the maxx oil pro will hold up on the test. I pushed the oil to 6.5k before doing a oil change. Yes thats passed the maintenance required of 4.5k or 3k. I took a picture and as you can see it did not burn any oil and the condition looks pretty good. The lexus is also doing great with this oil. I was a mechanic at a honda dealer for 9 years and believe me sometimes you get what you pay for, but this is not bad at all. What people need to know is oil companies will add synthetic compound in crude oil and call it "SYNTHETIC OIL". That why some some motor oil are more expensive because they use 100% synthetic oil. I still dont know much about this oil but i do know this... my truck didnt burn any oil even when i extended my oil change. It did what its suppose to do, protect my engine.

Will re-evaluate after some changes to equipment.
Wanted to try a new oil in my BMW, saw this oil at a great price so I figured I would try it out. It was the first oil I have used that somehow disappeared without a trace. In less than 5000 miles and a few months my oil level went from the required 7 liters down to 3 liters when it was drained. I had to due an oil change in hopes to rectify the hard idling and poor performance, with this oil being the only change. After changing back to Castrol Edge Magnatec full synthetic, a few months later my oil is almost non-existent on the dipstick, so I must admit that my vehicle is actually burning oil. So I will change out the CCV valve and breather tubes and give this oil another try to see how it performs!

IMO, In the top five of oils on the market right now.
5W-30, oil is excellent. I put it in the top five of oils on the market being manufactured at this time. It has a fantastic addictive package, that balances lubrication and cleanses the engine. I know because I had a virgin sample tested. The frustrating side is the limited stock available for purchase and the big swings in cost. Most recently purchased cost was $5.29 a quart, two days later I need to purchase more and it’s 13 something a quart. So now I’m stuck waiting for price to drop again, not happy with that at all. Pick a price and stay with it. Will continue to use as long as cost stays competitive with the ours.

overpriced
EDIT 11/30/2018: This used to be $18 for 5 quarts at Amazon and Walmart. It's now $38 for 5 quarts at both Amazon and Walmart. It's not worth it. There are better name brand alternatives for lower price. This oil meets a lot of specifications that other oils don't. Attached is a screenshot of the back of the 0W30 container that I received. BMW LL-01, VW 503.00/506.00, ACEA A5/B5 and A1/B1, etc...

Synthetic 10W30 at a great price.
I need to change the oil in my snow blower and lawn mower. I was looking at the Walmart SuperTech synthetic 10W30 for $16 for 5 qts. Then I started to look at the synthetic 10W30 oils at Amazon.... I found this premium synthetic 10W30 for $17.58 for 5 qts. It meets a lot of specifications beyond the API SN and ILSAC GF-5 and they claim that is has an "exceptionally low viscosity" which is great for snow blowers. A Great deal again... thanks Amazon!

From what I can tell it is synthetic.
This is a very nice oil. It is synthetic from what I can tell. My only problem that I had was that the pouring part is big compared to other ones. It is fine though it does drain a little faster because the spout is a lot bigger. The reason I don't like this very much is because I was putting it into a small engine and since they have a small place to fill I ended up spilling it because it came out faster than I thought it would. My fault though. Good synthetic oil. I would suggest it to others.

Competitive Price
The labeling on the plastic container and the Amazon description lists it as a fully synthetic oil, considering the price this makes it the most competitively priced 0w30 oil I could find online. Having used it to change the oil on a 2017 naturally aspirated, 1.6 l Hyundai Elantra, the car seems to be running well with no discernible impediments in performance. A recommended buy for the price, will just have to see how it holds up until the next oil change.

good stuff
good stuff at a nice price (at the time I bought it) - flows better than 5w30 conventional in the winter, so it provides better start protection and flow - my VVTi engine seems to like it just fine
