Ninja at the Pet Shop (Scholastic Reader, Level 1: Moby Shinobi)

This is such a fun series for kids (and for adults reading with their kiddos). Oh and it involves a ninja, so that's a huge bonus too. My youngest son adores this series. The underlying message in each book is to keep trying and put your best foot forward. While Moby Shinobi makes mistakes during the story line, he always finds a way to shine at the end. These stories are about perseverance and keeping a positive attitude even with things go awry in a comical way.

Super good book, My 6 year old loves this series. I do too, and for a number off reasons.They all rhymeThey teach good ethicsThey short but not too shortColorfulAnd cost effectiveTrust me, you can’t go wrong with Moby!

My son adores these books. He has ADHD and the rhyming pattern of the book really engages him. We are eagerly waiting for book #4 even though we got #3 as soon as it was released :D

My son loves Moby Shinobi books! He loves to check out the pictures and notices new things each time he reads it.

Good book for beginner reading. My kids love them. It helps that it's a series I can mix them around and they don't get bored as fast.
