Brilliantly done!
I read Hide and Seek by this author and loved it so when I saw everyone raving about her latest release, I had to buy it.One of the worst things as a parent is when you lose sight of your child, even if it’s just a few seconds. Those moments feel like hours. For Sive, trying to get on the tube with two young girls as well as a baby in a pram, you just know the unthinkable is going to happen and the doors of the tube close on her two girls before she can get on. Understandably she is distraught but when only one of her girls gets off at the next station, she is beside herself and it gets the readers head in a spin as to what could have happened to the other girl.Through the story we get to know Sive, her husband Aaron and Aaron’s friends from his youngers years when they were all housemates. I absolutely loved how the story twists and turns and we discover more about these characters as well as the increasing tension of who has taken Faye and if her parents will get her back. It’s set in present time with the story flicking back and forwards between the friends all meeting up in London for a few days which leads up to Faye’s disappearance. It is so cleverly done with the reader having no clue what to expect next. The chapters are relatively short which makes it impossible to put down as the author ends them in a way that you have to know what happens next. The busy setting of London raises the tension and even though the police are doing all they can, Sive, Aaron and his friends are also doing all they can to try and find her. I particularly loved Jude’s character who is a journalist who my feelings towards changed throughout and she ended up being one of my favourites. Usually we aren’t supposed to like these pushy reporters only ever out for a story but you had to give her credit for the role she plays. No One Saw A Thing is a mind blowing story that will raise your blood pressure and have your heart racing. I had to go back a couple of times to re-read parts due to unexpected twists and making sure I had read it properly as they were so shocking. It really is a roller coaster ride of a read where the twists are relentless right up until the very end. Brilliantly done!

This is a book for people with very short attention spans.
Yes, this is quite thrilling. Lots of people seem to have enjoyed it but, to me it comes across as a book that is written for people who don't have a very long attention span. None of the adult characters are given anything more than a two dimentional structure. There are also no people in this that I care if they died on the next page except, I guess the children's Mum. There are so many plot twists that, to be honest it becomes really difficult to follow what is actually going on. As I have said, it seems to be popular with a lot of people and I'm glad that they enjoyed it. But, not really for me.

Keeps you guessing
Good story that kept you on your toes reading. However I do wish that books wouldn't keep leaping from the present to the past and back again as it can be confusing and I think takes away something from these books. You get to a good bit and then it jumps back to the past and then you have to get back to the present again and have to remember how things were.Apart from that, it was a good story with an ending not guessed at until much further on after more information became available. Definitely worth a read!

A stunner
It was like the best psychological cop thriller on tv, where you think each and everybody who is involved at one time must be the perpertrator. And I read a lot of these. This one is give star. I've now downloaded another two of her books

a wonderful and pacey crime thriller!
This is my first Andrea Mara read, and it did not disappoint. It is a wonderful and pacey crime thriller that opens with a bang! It flicks back and forth through a collection of well-developed characters. I was suspicious of everyone and really had no idea where it would go. Nearly every chapter ends with a hook which resulted in late dinners, incomplete housework and perhaps a few sneaky pages between work calls. You have been warned!

Do we really know our friends?
This subject was horrific if you have or have had children. Keeping them safe is the be all and end all! This book.was well written and the twist at the end was really surprising!Very well written.
