initial usage feedback
Device Looks good - just started using; item delivered two days delayed due to the amazon local delivery executive issues and after a couple of customer care calls they reassigned it to another delivery executive and she delivered it as per the reassigned date and time. The Samsung T7 Shield gave better write speeds when used with the HUB's USB-C! compared to T7 Shield using directly with the Mac MIni M2 USB-C port! But the read speeds reduced to around 700MB/s.I have ordered the "XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade M.2 NVME 2TB" along with this and that SSD connected with the HUB's internal M.2 slot gave a respectable read write speeds around 960MB/s.Data transfer from T7 Shield to the "XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade M.2 NVME 2TB" resulted in errors and drive disconnections during bulk copying. However copying individual folders and files worked fine. The HDMI port gave 4K @60Hz without any problems with my Mac Mini M2. SD and MicroSD cards also worked without any problems.I have pasted an additional apple logo sticker I had on top of this Hagibis HUB and with that the HUB looks like from Apple :-)I will monitor this closely in the coming days and update the review with positives and negatives if any.

like-okay product. Somewhere between a dock and a hub and fails in both on display.
Using it with Legion Go handheld. Core issue with this is it's designed for slow Mac PCs in mind and is neither a proper dock, nor a hub, just barely a powered hub with no PD or QC.As such it can't pass through charge to the host mobile PC, only 15V2A to power the HDD. That means it can't be used as a dock so use as hub instead. Heres the problem with hub then, the display ports will not work if dock and hub are manually daisychained or internally gets daisychained, unless PC or it's dock has PLX chip and dp-alt port. I'm keeping it for my portable wireless touch monitor to relay USB devices wirelessly

Perfect Partner of Mac Mini
I just got this today and trust me my 256GB MacMini M2 got a boost of 4TB ... Unbelievable but true .... This charming dock has made my M2 absolute value proposition and the only downside of M2 got resolved bcoz of this Hub.It is important to note that if one is looking for a complete solution then order MC25 Pro HD Hub as this has all combinations and anything else will be a compromise or incomplete.....This is a must buy also bcoz it gives USB Type A, Card Reader and USB Type C ports right in front .... Which absolutely enhances it's utility quotient ......If you are a Mac Mini M1 or M2 owner simply close your eyes and place an order of Hagibis MC25 Pro HD

Exactly what I needed for my M1 Mac mini
So I love my M1 Mac Mini but I had two external disks (since I had them on hand) that I used for local additional storage (I take a lot of photos and didn't want to clog my Mac Mini's SSD) and one that I used for Time Machine backups. And, as we all know, the lack of ports and SD card reader can sometimes be a problem. But the biggest issue, is that my Mac sat next to me and the whole thing just looked messy. A slew of cables to the external drives, 2 black external drives and it was bugging me.Enter this device. I didn't get it free. This isn't a paid review... I paid for this hub. Here's what I love about it. It is ever so slightly larger than the Mac by maybe a few millimeters, if that, so my Mac sits perfectly on top. The color isn't a 100% match, as others have noted, but it is probably 98% and if your Mac is sitting on top, who cares, right? You can see how close they are in the picture. It has eliminated my clutter issue. Both external drives are gone. Inside, I installed a 1TB NVMe drive that I use for my fast local storage and a 2 TB Seagate 2.5 drive for Time Machine. Now I have a nice clean desktop! No more clutter. Just the Mac and this device. In one unit, I have two separate drives, so if my fast local storage failed, my Time Machine didn't. (And yes, like anyone, aside from iCloud I do make additional periodic backups to an external Time Machine disk.)Anyway, it will do wonders to clean up your desktop. And in front you get 2 USB 3.0 A type ports, a USB 3.1 Gen 2 A type port, a USB C port, SD/TF ports and indicator lights showing that the hub is active, the NVMe is being accessed and the HDD is being accessed. For my uses, and what I wanted to accomplish, it has worked flawlessly. No errors. Drives all accessed easily and quickly. All front ports working.AN IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using both drives like I am, it is important that you connect both USB-C ports on the hub to your Mac Mini using either the included cables or your own. The power draw between the hub, and powering a rotating HDD plus an NVMe can cause intermittent issues if you don't connect both. One for power, one for data. It is described in the instruction manual and if you just do it, you will have a trouble-free experience with this device. I tried it without the second USB-C to USB-A connected and the NVMe acted like it "ejected" improperly from time to time. By connecting both cables, it is flawless and all ports in front are powered.A TIP: I stuck a piece of double-stick Velcro between my Mac and the Hub so that when my Mac was on top, it did not slide if I was plugging something into the hub. This is no fault of the hub. The Mac's "foot" as you know is the circular plastic bottom which can slide on top of the smooth aluminum of the hub. A little Velcro did the trick.A BONUS: Hagibis paid attention to detail. The LEDs they used are the same size, intensity and brightness of the one on the Mac Mini. As a result, the white LED that represents the HDD being accessed in the hub lines up with the white LED on your Mac. The blue and green LED are the same size. Nice attention to detail.SURPRISING: There is a plastic "door" on the bottom of the hub that you remove to insert the HDD or NVMe drives. They supply screws to secure it and foam to keep you drive tightly in place. I was pleasantly surprised that they included extra screws, several rubber NVMe holders and a screw driver! You don't have to try and find a mini screw driver to install the screws as they supply one.Overall, for me, for how I use my Mac, this is EXACTLY what I needed. It has exceeded my expectations for the price. I have had no issues with reliability, read/write speeds or connectivity.
