Backfitted a 20007 Jamboree, no problem. Switched from 3-wire to 2-wire, both hot lead went dead when I disconnected the coach so I just picked one and connected it, then stubbed the extra one.Tested with a propane torch (unlit), the alarm went off but it wasn't as loud as a smoke alarm. Good enough.

The R501 arrived this afternoon. I cannot comment on how reliable it will be in the long run but I can say that it looks good and was very easy to install. Took maybe 5 minutes to get the old unit out and new one installed. Waited the three minutes until the LED showed zero then hit the test button to make sure it beeped. Working great for now but I'll be sure to update my review if an issue arises.

I bought a used travel trailer. The original gas detector gave an "end of life" alert. I replaced it with this model because it had good reviews and was a decent price. The first one sent to us was faulty (which is why I gave 4 stars) but it was easy to exchange for a new one. It was easy to install, looks nice, and seems to be working fine after 2 weeks and one campout.The alarm has triggered twice since it has been installed. The first time was when we were starting the stove top and it was taking a moment for the pilot light to ignite. The second time was when we were spraying Lysol near the floor. I feel confident that it is working properly.

Bought this for our Travel trailer and fits fine and seems to work fine, so far.

Easy to install works just fine when tested.

This item was a super quick replacement for my detector that hit end of life. Instructions in box but really self explanatory. When I hooked up I thought it was broken but it just takes 5 minutes to calibrate.
