We were at the beach in Florida on the Gulf of Mexico and it was a bit windy. Our umbrella kept blowing inside out so had to take it down. Another person’s umbrella wasn’t even moving so I asked what it was and he told me RIO.Today we were on the other side of the state, 18 mph winds blowing off the Atlantic, and my new umbrella barely moved.It takes a bit to get used to the anchor system but it’s actually easy. They don’t say in the instructions but it helps to clear a relatively flat space. And then once it’s screwed in place push some sand onto the anchor for a little extra stability.Bottom line, it’s as advertised, holds up great in the wind, good sun block. A bit heavier than my old one but easy to carry and well worth it.

Love the screw in base PLUS sand pockets to keep this umbrella secure. Honestly so far it seems really sturdy and worth the price!

VERY study; the auger is thick and long so it's secure in the sand. Adding sand on the bottom also helps with stability. We used it today during gusty winds and it didn't move. Of note, it DOES NOT TILT, even though the description says it does.

Blue and turquoise umbrella. Easy to install and very sturdy. Anchor system works great. Only draw back is it does NOT tilt.

The best beach umbrella you will ever ever own!

Anchor works very well. Umbrella barely moves in heavy wind. But developed a hole near the top that is getting larger and larger. We only got 2 years out of it.
