Units work great, software is very hard to understand. Looks like written in Chinese English. I doubt half the features work, you have to find work around. Wish it was simpler and just worked. But one you program it , it just works.

I first have to say read up on this brand and other reviews to make sure you are getting the right software to program the board. Honestly forgot to update this when I set it up to link, but I found the info fairly easily looking up the name of the listing.I would recommend this as a buy as the keys can be programmed and the information stored internally so you don't have to junk up the machine with software.I actually use this for shortcut keys on my work machine as we cannot add external software per our internal security protocols. It works great as I have voice/video calls in house and with other companies and I can just use the buttons to mute and do other functions quickly.Tempted to get a second one just for automations on a personal machine. Would purchase again if 7 buttons is all I need there.

No software came in the box, just a keybd and cable. No instructions as to where to get them.I finally found a site with instructions, and still no joy.I have a 7 key, which I bought to have the characters ā ē ī ō ū and ʻ (used in the Hawaiian language), and DEL on the 7 keys, but it seems that nothing I do allows me to store anything but basic ASCII characters the the device. I’ve tried with the web interface using Chrome, on both Win and Linux mint, and also by using the linux and windows v2 and 3 zip files, but still no success.Is there a way to store UTF-8 characters to a key? If there is I can’t find it.Thanks!

The hardware design and build appear to be of excellent quality. There are multiple very solid layers firmly screwed together making for an extremely sturdy build with quality keys on it.There was nothing in the shipping box except bubble wrap, keyboard, and cable. No software, instructions for where to get software, etc. Mine came programmed to emulate the 1-7 number keys. Eventually I found some questionable software that was able to program it, but am not sure it's safe or correct so not sharing the link. The software runs on a PC (I tested on Windows) and starts a local web server for reading the documentation. Copy the URL from the command line app into your browser and it allows you to scan for devices, connect, check programming, change programming.This device has two micro-USB ports, but there is no description of this being the case or what the purpose is. I believe it is simply so you can plug the device in on the end or on the one side, it doesn't appear to have a dedicated "programming" port.Overall I am very happy with this product compared to having built my own little keyboards, but the lack of included software or instructions is very off-putting.
