Good deal! This isnt a design flaw as such, but be careful when tipping water in the glass as it can and will go evrrywhere and since its a chunk of salt, that water is retained. Unless you own a long lighter, you will probably have to light the candle and drop it in, which hasnt presented an issue yet.

I love this oil burner.First of all i am so grateful for how securely it was packaged: both the dish and the salt lamp and frame were each wrapped and padded perfectly which would have taken quiet a lot of care to do.The lamp itself is clean and a lovely pale peachy shade, which is my favourite tone of Himalayan crystal. When lit it gives a soft warm glow.Perhaps my favourite charm of this little treasure was the surprise magnifying effect of the glass dish which magnifies the candle flame from above, shining through the water and essential oil.As an oil burner it is very efficient and distributes fragrance beautifully. Only a few drops of essential oil on the water is necessary for a full fragrant effect.I would recommend this little gem to anyone.I also would add that when i wanted to blow out the candle i was able to carefully remove the glass dish (still with a little water in it) before extinguishing the flame. I did this to protect the glass dish from smoke marking although i know it could be easily cleaned.Perhaps i love this burner too much ☺️

As lovely as this is, the glass dish is very delicate and the rock itself has been crying ever since I got it.

product was initially missing the glass dish. quality seems okay. seller did rectify the issue relatively quick

I got this as a gift for a friend but I absolutely love it and it’s great quality, I want to get one for myself. Due to ending up in hospital we didn’t see each other so I don’t know what my friend thinks of it yet
