Nice antenna at the best price
I bought this antenna just because it is very tiny and allows me to enter into any low ceiling area with my SUV without having to scratch my original antenna against the ceiling. It looks nice and it works correctly.

Great solution for my application
So far so good, looks like a quality product, came with the right accessories to connect to even the most obscure base. Looks good and i get compliments on the detail

Did not fit on Scion tC
The product came with three different screws, a few different parts of the antenna, and very brief and poorly written instructions on the inside of the cardboard packaging. Each screw was a different length with different width ends, which I assumed connected the parts of the antenna together. I spent a bit over an hour trying every directional and logistical order of the screws to get it to fit into my 2011 Scion tC (Toyota Zelas outside the US) but to no avail. The screws either would not fit in the holes or they would be too long, creating an ugly gap between the antenna and the base. There were two included plastic rings to cover this bit of screw, but even together they did not even cover half of the gap between the antenna and the base on the tC.To top it all off, through my hour of trying to get the antenna to work, the antenna itself started to fall apart, and one of the plastic rings cracked in half. This is a very flimsy and cheap-looking product; even if I had been able to successfully attach it to my tC, I doubt the cheap plastic would withstand the harsh winter snow or even a couple car washes.

great for the price

not the worst and looks sleek.
it's a 3 inch antenna, how much reception could you possibly get with it? it isnt going to be as functional as a taller one. for anybody thats ever seen an antenna before, or has any understanding of FM radio, this should be painfully obvious. this antenna is solely for aesthetics. i rarely use my radio, so losing a few further away/weaker signals was no concern.took less than 5 minutes to remove my old antenna and install this new one on my dodge dakota. the spacer rings are rubberized so they can form a tight seal.hasnt fallen apart yet, but i could see that possibly happening.in one review, i read somebody saying something about not knowing what carbon fiber has to do with reception. i didnt know either, so within 30 seconds of painstakingly searching for an answer... this is what the internet has provided: "There is a common concern regarding carbon fiber and radio interference. It is claimed that carbon fiber will shield your antenna. However, from my experience with Electromagnetic interference shielding (EMI) and former life in electronics I know its not that simple.Radio waves get blocked by absorption and reflection. Absorption happens when the signal is attenuated (reduced) by being diffused. This happens to your FM radio when driving into a tunnel. This is NOT what happens with our super thin walled fuselages. The other way is through reflection. To reflect a radio wave you need a conductor. Holes in the conductor (like the holes in our cloth weave) allow some frequencies of radio to pass and block others. CF is a conductor (fiberglass is not), but the thickness of the CF and the size of the aperatures have to be studied to determine if either is sufficient to decrease a signal in the 72MHz band."not a terrible product

Good, but not perfect.
There are quite a few screws, an extension, and some plastic gap rings that come with this antenna. After trying quite a few combination the screw in the extension worked perfectly but left a small gap. Unfortunately, neither ring fits perfectly and it's just slightly too large for a 2011 wrx. The gap is completely closed (height of the ring is perfect) but the diameter is too large. This causes it to sit just slightly off center and is barely noticeable. This could be easily solved with a bit of electrical tape, foam, or etc. on my part and I'm really not going to complain for the price.I would just caution everyone that the antenna should bolt on fine...the ring covering the gap may be another story (either too large or too small).

Great product
Was exactly what I was looking for. Went on very easy. Looks great and was a good price. I would buy another one for my husbands car.

Never loose one in a carwash again
If you use auto car wash, this will save you an antenna and lots of damage to your vehicle from the old one that is now wrapped in the roller brushes beating your truck. I will be getting another one for my HD radio just like the look.
