We ordered this recently, its a multi use tool. We saved lot of money by testing our watersoftner mother board, it helped us to identify the toot cause. It functions very well . It is very easy yo use and more readable. We use it to test batteries . My kids likes it and using it as part of their STEM projects. Worth of money overall.

I would give the meter 5 stars. I misplaced two of my meter's test leads. I looked on Amazon for replacement test leads, which cost 8 dollas. This metter was only $6.50 USD with test leads. I bought two meters solely for test leads. I was skeptical about a low-cost meter like this at first, but I gave it a shot and it's not awful at all. The meter does all of the functions I needed. That's all you need to test the electricity in your home. The meter does an excellent job.

Directions are not for the item they sent or are completely messed up. It talks about buttons that don't exists and doesn't mention buttons on it. The sentence stop in mid sentence so you don't know what you are supposed to do. The steps are all messed up it goes from 3, 7, 8, 3. Can't use device. None of the directions go with the device. I think someone tried to translate it to English but sentence (When there is a sentence) don't make sense. Also tell you to turn to certain positions on the device that don't exist. When a sentence does make sense they don't finish it example, "Battery and fuse replacement should be done after the test leads have been" that's it. it ends there.

Instructions were in extremely small print and not at all clear. Probably written in China. No markings on device or in instructions which was AC and which was DC. Looking at pictures with dial settings was only clue. Once I figured out which was which, it worked as it should. Did not come with batteries.

lit up display is great too

I received this product and opened it in front of a guy I work with, he immediately offered me twice the money I paid for it. He says it works great and he's well pleased with it, so I guess I'll take his word for it. I ordered a different brand that night.
