I had a similar clip that I thought I had lost. We travel a lot and always carry water with us. The clip is indispensable. Countless people have asked us where to get one. When I thought I lost the original, I went searching and found 10 for $10! These have a smaller clip than the original (which I later found) but I now have one to use and a couple of others to share with fellow travelers (and make new friends!). This is a GREAT buy! If you often carry a water bottle, use these to empty your hands and pockets and clip it on (and carry an extra to share with a friend.

These will certainly do the job of holding a bottle of water just fine. However, The "hook" on these is NOT a carabiner, and a carabiner is what I should have been looking for. The carabiner I need has to be much bigger and thicker. Not so that it stronger but so that it would be easier to grab onto when you need to put it on or take it off a belt. So now I will need to find carabiners and replace all 20 of the original ones that came with these.

Works fine with older style bottles but all of the new style water bottles (usually ones with smaller caps) have a different neck size that is smaller so these don't grip them. Be warned... the new small cap bottles are now the required standard so these clips will fast become obsolete and unusable!

This worked really well for about a week of travel in India, then the grippy bit loosened and I kept dropping bottles. I would say for light use these are lovely and do the trick, but for heavier use find another solution.

They are poor quality and don't really work. The water bottles slip out easily. Cute, but not practical. Too bad. :(

If you travel and carry water, this is the answer.

Love these!! Sure make having extra water easier to carry with you at all times!! We use these in our trail rides with the horses!! Fantastic!
