We will need quite some time to gain enough experience to be able to write a sensible review, but so far the machine has proved efficient, effective and entertaining !

Extra help around the house
Overall, we're pretty pleased with this gadget. We have two cats, so it goes on once in the morning and once in the evening in the rooms that get the most traffic, allowing us to keep on top of things in between using our vacuum cleaner a couple of times a week.It is bigger than I'd expected, but as my son pointed out, that means you're not constantly having to empty the dust chamber. It does a pretty thorough job of cleaning (obviously it doesn't do stairs!) and navigates the rooms well. It does have problems with some furniture, such as the chrome bases of our kitchen chairs, but that's fine as we simply move these out of the room while it's in operation. Our robot also often seems to have trouble locating the charging station, so we sometimes have to return it to the dock ourselves. No big deal. The mop function is a real bonus. We use this daily on heavy traffic rooms, too (we don't have any carpet). However, as it simply runs a damp cloth over the floor (we spray our floors with a cleaning product before putting the robot to work), it can only be seen as complementary to a proper steam mop clean in rooms such as the kitchen.

Decidedly average
I bought this as I was going for surgery and wouldn’t be able to vacuum for a bit. After some initial hiccups it works fine. The mop function is pretty useless and just wets your floor. It good for a top up but won’t replacd your upright vacuum. It has a timer feature but I don’t use it as the robot constantly gets tangled in the charger cord when looking for its docking station. I’ve tried tucking it up and even taping it but the robot bangs against the station when searching for it and this loosens the cable. It was all going fine till I started it and it was making a terrible noise. I could hear it from the next room. I emailed the supplier and was told an exchange was on the way. Turns out it’s a new fan assembly and I have to replace it myself. The thing is not even 4 months old. All in all, not great but if you know what to expect, then you can adjust your expectations.

Good cleaning
It only arrived yesterday but it cleans fantastic. We have a cat and it picks up her hair. It changes from hard floor to rug but sometimes gets stuck. The instruction manual has some printing mistakes and so I don't know how to set the time etc. however when I got in touch with the supplier they were quick to respond and help.

Quite, great suction power, fantastic for tiled floor
Thought this would a gimmick but now I can’t imagine life without it. Perfect for our tiled downstairs as we have three dogs.

Liectroux - Pros and Cons
OK - so we have 2 robot cleaners. The first being a Neato XV and the second being the Liectroux B6009.We’ve had the Neato for 2.5 years and the Liectroux for a couple of months. We bought the Liectroux purely because it mops.Pros:Neato: Quality build, unrivalled navigation, excellent vacuuming - very close to edges, deals with changes in floor, mats etc.Liectroux: Mops the floor, larger dustbin, better filtration, dust bin brush.Cons:Neato: Emptying the dustbin is a bit of a faff.Liectroux: Navigation is not a patch on the Neato, Does not vacuum to edges very well, Not good at vacuuming carpets - better on hard floors. In summary: if you want an excellent vacuum for carpets and hard floors, then the Neato is by far the better product. If you need to mop floors, then the Liectroux does a reasonable job (for every day type cleaning).

Very pleased with performance!
Very good for hard flooring, movements are methodical. Reasonably good on carpet despite mine being quite thick. Manual commands not so positive as my last robot vacuum but it was more expensive. I wouldn’t be without it!!
