Excellent Alternative to the Suction Cup Mount
This thing actually works! I was having trouble with the suction cup windshield mount on my GPS as they fatigue over time and break. This is weighted and stays put. If your GPS has the plug coming out of the side, this is perfect. If the plug comes out of the bottom in your GPS, make certain that you have a right angle cord, or you won't be able to use this mount. On my cars, it stays put and doesn't slide and I don't have to use the glue strip. It depends on your dashboard if you need to use it or not. A helpful hint: make certain that you angle your GPS down so you don't get a lot of glare. It you put it in the holder straight up and down, it will be difficult to see. It works great and I don't miss the crop circles on the windshield.

this one not as bad as one returned
returned one that bag was either over filled or bag too small (was rounded bottom that wobbled and slid badly). This bag same size but not as over filled as much. My dash (F150) has a flat panel insert on dash (very flat, per straight edge). I may have to make incision in bag to remove some filler (don't want to, but not the end of the universe). The "jaws" hold my gps very well, no problems with cord or on/off switch. I'll updatr further, if need be. But, this may be fine for other vehicles or not too good for other gps's (?), I have no way of knowing. Very prompt exchange from vendor, no complaints there

Stays put on dash of my bumpy diesel pickup
Definitely worth the money! I tossed this beanbag mount on the dash of my diesel pickup which is modified to tow a 7-ton RV. Let's just say "it's pretty bouncy & jerky" when not towing. The mount stayed where I put it without using the sticky pad. It latched onto my Franklin R910 hotspot like a frightened child and wouldn't let go! Never budged in city driving, never budged while driving through a forest on a state route. I'm satisfied!

Needs better anti-slip bottom
I like this, even though it doesn't have a good anti-slip bottom surface. It holds my 5" GPS & my 6.2" S8+ with ease. I put a jar opener pad beneath it to keep it in place.

It is heavy
Overall it is okay but it is heavy and abit difficult to change the phone position

Don't buy, waste of money.
It is not very helpful; we totally liked our previous GPS holder. There is always a glare- it can't be adjusted so there is no glare. It is not very stable-it allows the GPS to pop out for no reason; its heavy. It is difficult to get the GPS into the holder. It is generally not user friendly. Our GPS sits on the consul more than in the holder.

Great
A little bulky but serves its purpose

Heavy, hold phone well.
Works well with my iPhone, but needs a bigger silicone non-slip pad.

It didn't work on my dashboard
The holder slipped from my dashboard in the first curve that was not even that sharp. I don't understand how some company can sell product that just doesn't work at all as described.
