I had been looking for a top layer to wear when running on rural roads during the winter. This gilet being hi-vis yellow with reflective elements does the job of making me more visible in the dimmer weather, darker mornings and evenings. It’s versatile in that it can be worn over a t-shirt or a thicker hoodie, or over a layering system, depending on the ambient temperature.With the mesh sections and generous arm openings, I don’t find it traps body heat as a jacket would, and when zipped up to the collar, it fits close to the body which makes it really comfortable for running. It’s very lightweight too.It’s a good price - £21 or so - what price do you put on extra safety? A perfect addition to my running kit!

Ideal top for running in cold weather. Lined but not quilted makes it comfortable to run in. Good reflective qualities. Err on the side of flattery if you're between sizes

I bought this because I was looking for something a bit more lightweight when cycling in the summer and so far I am very pleased with it - as well as being highly visible to other road users it's comfortable but being sleeveless you don't get too hot. Would definitely recommend this.

I really like this jacket. I already had a jacket covered all over with the silver material and it was ideal for dark winter nights. Where it was not so ideal was in daytime traffic. This item has plenty of that silver material/coating and the more traditional yellow helps you to be seen in the daytime. I highly recommend this gilet. [Don't expect it to keep you dry]

Bought a size S, I really need an XXS. Much heavier duty than I was expecting, great quality though, just very thick. No use to me as it's far too big and I bought it for cycling so I'm flapping about in wind.

I was looking for a Hi Vis jacket as a Christmas present for my wife, a keen walker.The one I chose was a bit more expensive but was unusual in that it was available in an extra small size.Being "armless" and with a zip at the front it is very versatile and can be easily be put on over outer clothing. The pockets are also a useful addition. It is very visible without being "over the top" and quite stylish for a hi Vis jacket.My wife is very pleased with it

Great vest ro be seen in the dark for running at night, it's a bonus that it has 3 pockets as well. Its breathable and thin so doesn't feel like your wearing an extra layer and it doesn't rustle!

Brought as a gift for my husband who has reported that it is "Very reflective and quite warm, although I feel slightly like a member of YMCA". I feel better knowing when he is out running he is very visible so he will return home safely, hopefully with more supplies of chocolate for me!
