Tension but what tension?
This device is so non specific, very much depends on the person using it plus so much can vary. It does not give a racquet tension in terms of string tension but a reading of tension in relation to the device which is different for every person using the device. Awareness is needed to know whether it is testing a main or a cross string. There is no obvious limiter to when to stop a tension check so it is possible to go to the maximum of the device. User strength varies as does different types of strings.A good stringer will know instinctively or by sound how a racquet is tensioned. A nice idea but difficult to execute.
