I recently picked up a pack of Elixir 12152 Electric Guitar Strings, and let me tell you, they're like a breath of fresh air for my guitar. I've been playing for years, and I've tried all sorts of strings, but these stand out in a league of their own.The first thing I noticed was the longevity. I'm the kind of player who goes through strings like there's no tomorrow, especially with daily practice and regular gigs. But these Elixir strings have an incredible lifespan. I've been playing them hard for weeks, and they still sound as fresh and bright as the day I put them on. It's almost like they have a superpower against wear and tear.But longevity is just the start. The tone is what really got me. It's rich, clear, and has this beautiful, resonant quality that brings out the best in my guitar. This strings sound excellent. I wouldn’t buy any others. I play a lot and my strings used to get dull even within a week until I switched to these. They last a good while which makes them a real money saver. There is a bit of a learning curve if you aren’t used to coated strings because they can feel a little slick, but getting used to them doesn’t take long—just a a small adjustment of touch. They fit perfectly and play nicely.

The smoothest and best wearing strings. Mid-level gauge so not too thick or thin and handle lots of note bending when it matters. Cheapest price around without compromising on quality.

These strings were recommended by the company, and owner, who sorted my schecter guitar, and he is right. Pricewise they are little different to the competition, however the sound is brighter, and purer, and they do advertise exactly how their string series will sound, and they are just so right. I didn't realise such exactism and choice existed. Give em a try, I don't think you would be disappointed . I have them on both my schecter C6 solo and my fender and the sound definition is sharper and discernable.

Elixir are a good brand and they do probably last longer than some other brands. But I don't think there for me, I bought them because I'm lazy when it comes to changing strings so i wanted something that would last. But I'm not keen on these strings so I'm changing them only having used them for 2 weeks. Plus side, delivery was really fast, I got them the next day!

Clear sound, smooth feel, last 12 months. I store my guitars in cases, acoustics with humidity packs, play at home only and they last for a year. It means around 100 hours of playing for me, after that , strings loose ‘elasticity’ but still don’t rust like other brands . Tried all kind of strings from different brands, these are my favourite even within Elixir range.

Love these strings, DPD not so much. They are a woeful courier, a day late for no clear reason.
