This is a beautiful leather sheath that will take most bushcraft knives - including a mora or most 'Woodlore' style bushcraft knives. It will take a knife with a blade depth of about 1 inch - and a woodlore type knife of up to 9 inches overall length and a blade length of up to around 4 - 4.5 inches. Each of our custom made sheaths is hand made and they do vary. The precise colour of leather, stitching and shape may vary from the one pictured. The leather may be dark brown or black. The stitching may be white or dark. If this is an issue please agree before buying in case we don't have the precise variant. It's A Keeper!
Out side of the fact the sheath is clearly black in the add and the one I was sent is brown, I like it. Luckily, don't really care too much about the colour. Got this sheath to use with two fixed blades I already own, both have sheaths that are a bit cheap and nasty, make my teeth itch and I wouldn't trust to do their job during heavy prolonged use. Both knives fit the sheath very well and will not slip out, the main reason it's a keeper! One is a Mora 2000, the other a Buck 679, quite different shaped knives so this sheath is fairly versatile in the shape of knife it will fit, The leather type material is pretty thick and sturdy, the stitching seems good and the end seam is very well sealed. The metal studs holding on the loop to the d ring and the dangler are solid and very well done as is the d ring. The dangler is pretty big and will fit any belt. All in all, it is a lot better than the sheaths that came with the knives and it looks like it will do it's job during heavy prolonged use, bingo!

Quality Gear For Your Sharpie.
Well stitched AND WITH A WELT. Leather is a decent grain. Nice dangler if you want it. Fits most Mora size knives.Why do people sell sheaths with no Welt??
