Heartbeat - The Complete Series 10

I've always refused to watch this series & normally move from series 9 to 11 out of protest for the awful way Yorkshire Television treated my fave Claude Jeremiah Greengrass.In real life Bill Maynard (who plays Greengrass) had a heart attack in the middle of filming series 10. While he did get better, not 100%, but better, Yorkshire Television (now called ITV Yorkshire) refused to have him back on the show due to high insurance costs for him.They did offer to have a departing episode written for him, but he refused so one episode he was there and the next - Gone - To live with his sister on a cruise in the Caribbean.That's the one thing I hate about YTV, the way they treated Greengrass at the end, but aside from that I still loved this series of Heartbeat. We say goodbye to Maggie Bolton & in the very last episode goodbye to Jackie Bradley too.As for the "new blood" we welcome Dr Tricia Summerbee and Geoffrey Hughes as Vernon Scripps to take over from Claude Jeremiah Greengrass. If you have watched any Heartbeats and enjoyed them I can recommend every single one.I have the whole series now.If you watch one a night you will have over a years entertainment.

like these series for the nostalgia of a gentler and easier way that may never repeated.

I already have seen the series on TV so I knew what was on the discs which is a great help.I just love it and could watch it over and over again. I now own the Standard car which features in The Great Ming Mistery,and Against all Odds.This series would suit any one of all ages . I did want to know the price before I purchased any of the CD,s from Amazon.Great service.I have also purchased a cover for my TV.

Favorite "just before bedtime" tv. Every one of the 400 plus episodes are really well written...better than many films, with great characters and twin funny and serious storylines. Even repeat viewings are fun. Highly reccommended.

I love the whole Heartbeat series, it was always well acted and had very good plot lines. Series 8, 9 & 10 are the only ones that are not repeated on the television, so I'm looking forward to watching them again. A definite must have Heartbeat fans.

Love Heartbeat, it is a great RURAL SERIES. Very entertaining, acting very good.

Just make sure you understand, it will not play on a regular DVD player. The player either has to be equipped with international setting or play on a computer. I use the free VLC Video player.

I was so happy to be able to finally purchase the whole series of Heartbeat - I have been trying to find them on DVD for the last couple of years. As soon as I saw that they were becoming available I ordered them, even though it meant purchasing a DVD player that plays region 2. These were purchased as a gift for my husband for Christmas, and although we will have to wait a number of months to enjoy them, they will definitely be worth the wait.

Had to return. Company was very good in refunding.

This Series is wonderful entertainment,can't wait to complete the Series.Just wish it was cheaper.
