Put these lights on my tree at 11am, a dull overcast day - at 5 pm they were lit up twinkling brightly and still lit at 6am. I put 2 different sets on my tree they look brilliant, much easier to set up than electric with all the wires to sort.out.

Lovely lights... would give them 5* but I had to buy another set because the first stopped working after about 3-4months. No idea why. I liked them so much that I thought I’d give them another try for that price. These are still working fine several months on. The solar panel is discreet, as are any wires, and even on a dull day they light up each night for a good 4-5hrs of total darknesss into the early hours the next morning. Really delicate colours - not too harsh. Numerous settings to combine different colours or change gradually or quickly to make them sparkle. My personal preference is to keep them on full, rather than fading in and out or flashing on and off - except at Christmas when they’re perfect to wrap around a tree and sparkle away! Really complements the garden. Great all year round.

It seems to me out of all the solar lights I've bought and had to return because they stop working After rain damaged them. These are excellent. And now the weather is cheering up with brighter sunny days they're lovely and bright in my dark back garden after sundown

Nice lights - my only reservation is that the solar panel is very small and it may be that they will not work too effectively in the winter, however, at the price, I think that they warrant five stars and work well for past the time when I go to bed - April 2017, so 6 hours or longer of fairy lights following 12+ hours of daylight.

I bought a set of these about 3 years ago and they are still going strong except for a couple of bulbs which have gone out, pity they don't put a couple of spare bulbs in the pack. Just bought another pack to brighten up the garden fencing!

I purchased these lights to put in a window box which I have on the inside of my kitchen window.I immediately put them amongst my plants and to my suprise they light up that very same nightI think the colours are really nice and very subtle so I am going to order more for my plant box in the bedroom.Just make sure you place the unit facing out!

These lights were great but somehow the solar panel got placed upside down and rainwater got in through the wire access plug so they stopped working. Apart from that they were great and lasted all night on all nights apart from very overcast days.

Managed to tack these around my conservatory and as they are clear you really only notice them when they are turned on. I used them in fade in/out mode and are a nice injection of colour. Solar unit is still getting enough charge currently and we are now in October.
