Shortest lived purchase in history of purchases
How to begin?I have a not whole lot of very fine hair with a memory better than my own, which can be a blessing when I get it right or extremely inconvenient when I donât.Rollers arrived at record time (ordered after midnight and received at 9am) and I used it right away after washing my hair with my good set of shampoo/conditioner and using a no heat curl inducing spray that thankfully arrived in the same package. Application wasnât easy but thatâs on me. There could be an extra pair in the package, had to clump the last of hair in the two last rollers. Dried with diffuser on low heat, kept them on for a further 30â to be sure the hair was dried and cool.I specifically got this set instead of Velcro ones so it wouldnât get stuck on my hair. They got stuck on my hair. I had to use my regular pins to hold the rollers in place, as the set came without, and they left a mark. Roll after roll coming out with extra patience and a struggle that I tried to avoid and my hair falling in the weirdest os cascades Iâve ever experienced in front of the mirror, apart from the time in 2008 when I had a perm, and with a little less regret. I tried to shake a little, mold with my fingers, brush, pin my fringe... it didnât even looked good on a ponytail. So I gave up.Ended up using my hot brush and straightening out of desperation, at a much higher temperature than usual, just to keep my newly self infringed mane under control, defeating the purpose of no-heat-styling, and very close to the roots, the terror of anyone with oily hair. The result wasnât pretty, my hair is straight but with the weirdest volume at the roots and never looked so fake in my entire life (apart from 2008).Anyway, after getting back all the hair they tried to take with them, they are safely in the pack they came in and going back, so they will never harm me again. Iâm trying curlformers next, wish me luck. If whoever is reading my uncharacteristically long review decided to go for it anyway: I hope you have better luck than I did :)

Gives a nice big bouffant look to fine hair
These are hard to get anywhere else. All that is on sale is those velcro rollers, which, when taken out, rip out hair and leave you in pain and half bald. The large orange rollers are for people who want a bouffant rather than a curly look. That is, something that looks almost like a blow dry for people who can't be bothered holding a heavy hairdryer to their head for twenty minutes, but prefer the old fashioned roller setting method.

Safe in hair
These are better than the Velcro type rollers that rip out hair. Give a decent curl on my hair.Just wish the pins were a bit longer and had a couple of spares

Not suitable for very fine hair
These ârollersâ reminded me of my childhood when my mum used to use them in my very straight hair. Just used them for the first time this morning and although the rollers were easy to use, the plastic pins failed to hold them in place due to my hair being so fine. Would be more suitable to someone with thicker hair. Will need to look for an alternative

Great rollers, no tangles, big, loose curls!
These rollers are great for giving loose but defined curls on my very thick, long hair. They are very sturdy and don't tangle in my hair when taking them out either (unlike Velcro rollers, which are a nightmare!)The only drawback (and this is why it loses a star) is the plastic pins that come with them. I couldn't get them to fix my hair in place so I just used my own hair grips instead.
