I’m picky but these are my new favorite
Gold toe fan here, I had to abandon gold toe since it’s less and less durability and more and more synthetics. This sock is proper Pima cotton stuff. Natural materials stop (or slow down) bacterial growth and they feel nice and there is less odor. I love the green color as well.

Crew Socks Suck
I have several pair of Boardroom's above the calf merino wool socks and have been very happy with them. The mid calf cotton socks have been a disappointment though. I purchased the navy color and like the color of the sock. But is a lighter navy, not dark nearly black navy. My issue is they don't stay up. After doing some reading, this seems to be the case with most crew socks so I am not sure why these exist.I wouldn't buy these at $1 a pair let alone $15.Since purchasing these, I bought a pair of cotton navy over the calf Boardroom socks. They are awesome. Same fit and comfort as the merino wool version. Unless you are buying socks to wear with shorts (not that anyone wears crew socks with shorts anymore, you probably should get ankle or no show socks), skip these and stick to the above the calf socks.

Comfortable socks
These socks fit as expected and offers a little difference to my son's wardrobe. The color is rich and adds a pop of color to any wardrobe.

Mid calf do not stay up
These are comfortable socks but the mid calf aren't staying up. I have 3 pair of khaki knee high and they stay up all day. My mid calf are blue in color. I purchased because they are suppose to stay up. I bought the mid calf after wearing the knee high for awhile and thought I would try mid calf, disappointed.

Don't buy the khaki color.
From out-of-the-box impressions, the socks seem like good quality, but it doesn't matter because the color is completely wrong. It is labeled Khaki on the tag attached to the socks, so it's not just a mistake of putting the wrong color sock in the package, it's that the color shown on the site (which actually aligns to the name "khaki") is inaccurate to what you get. The real color is closer to a light sage. For reference, I have attached photos of the socks next to the Amazon product picture (shown on a professional-grade Eizo Foris IPS monitor color-balanced to the sRGB standard), on top of a pair of light tan dress pants, and on top of a pair of sage casual pants. As you can clearly see in the pictures, the socks are almost exactly the same hue as the sage pants, just a bit lighter. These socks will *not* work for khaki or tan pants, but I suppose if you're looking for a match to lighter shades of sage these will be perfect. Otherwise, I'd stick to black, the only color I would trust them to get right after seeing their definition of "khaki." As for this pair, they're going straight back to Amazon.
