Mania is grunge euphoria
Truckfighters are an English speaking Swedish grunge band that sounds something like a blend of Queens of the Stone Age and vintage Blue Cheer. The band implements melodic fuzz-tone bass reminiscent of Jack Cassidy during his Hot Tuna period, aggressive drum attacks that emulate John Bonham of Led Zeppelin, and chugging guitar styling that is one part Black Sabbath and one part punk rock. The sound engineering on all the Truckfighters' albums is impressively clean, detailed and well separated -- no low fidelity compression here! If any of this has any appeal to you, then "Mania" will prove to be a tasty morsel of grunge that's sure to put a smile on your face. Although the first track on the Mania album, "Last Curfew" starts off a little subdued, it slowly builds into a heavy crescendo. From that point forward the album rocks hard and steady. "Gravity X" and "Phi" are also very worth getting. I suggest the best way to listen to the Truckfighters is at full volume!

New to truck fighting
New to the truck fighting scene! Great kick back and tap your foot music. Excellent musicians. Could not decide which of there albums to buy first so I bought the first three. Great decision! Everyone has there preference, but I liked Mania the best, then Phi and then Gravity X, although every one of them is great, this was my "If I Had To Rate Them" order. You cannot go wrong with any of them.

Monte Gargano is one of the best songs by any band in the last decade, and the rest of the album is pretty great too. Wishing that V sounded more like Mania.

When Joshua Homme says a band is awesome you better check them out. If you're a fan of Stoner Rock and fuzzed up guitars then this is the band for you.

Einfach nur wunderbar
Hab das Album aufgrund der ganzen Positiven Rezensionen mal gekauft und kann es Fans von Stoner Rock und ähnlichem bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Es wird mit jedem Durchgang besser und momentan läuft die Platte das 3te Mal in Folge durch... komme kaum weg davon :)Zur Musik selber ist schon genug gesagt worden. Deswegen kurz zur Vinylausgabe:Klingt super, kann man nichts falsch machen. Das Album kommt schön auf einer Platte daher und wurde nicht, wie heute leider fast üblich, auf 2 LPs aufgeteilt. Einzige Mankos: Leider kein Picture Sleeve, kein Downloadcode und auch keine CD beigelegt.Kaufen und die Band unterstützen, wems nicht gefällt, kann man es ja weiterschenken!

zündet spät - aber dann richtig !
Truckfighters sind eine wahre Macht. Wer sie live gesehen hat,weiß, was für eine ungeheure Energie sie auf der Bühne entladen.Das ganze auf CD zu bannen, so dachte ich jedenfalls, könnte etwas schwierig werden.Tatsächlich war ich anfangs auch ein bisschen skeptisch, nach dem ersten Hördurchgang.Nach mehrmaligen hören aber, offenbart sich hier ein energiegeladener, gitarrenbreitwandsound !Wirklich geil was die Jungs hier abliefern. Vor allem das lange Stück "Majestic" weiß zu begeistern.Wer auf guten Stoner Sound steht, kann hier bedenkenlos zugreifen.Wenn Ihr die Chance habt, sie live zu sehen, schaut sie euch unbedingt an !!

Great album... Catchy "Kyuss-y" stuff... Highly recommend all Truckfighter music...great tunes to drive to...

The Best Band In The World
Josh Homme said it himself. Truckfighters are the best band in the world. I love everything Truckfighters does, and this album is no exception. All the tracks flow together perfectly it feels like one solid album. Love owning it on vinyl too!
