This adapter works well, for a fair price
So far, so good. This Adapter has performed admirably throughout this entire weekend, as I have been testing out portable O-scope and signal generator kits that just arrived. The Oscilloscope kit seems to like this adapter and the adapter is staying nice and cool to the touch.JYETech 'DSO Shell' Oscilloscope DIY Kit w/ Enclosure, 100MHz Probe, Clip Probe & ESD-Safe Silicone MatKKmoon XR2206 High Precision Function Signal Generator DIY Kit Sine/Triangle/Square Output 1Hz-1MHz Adjustable Frequency AmplitudeWhen I purchased this Adapter I was hoping that it would also work out well out for powering one or more Arduino Uno boards. I have not had time to try it with one yet, because I have been busy assembling and testing the two kits mentioned above. At this point, I would say that this adapter is a pretty decent value for the price. I really hope that it holds up over time and that it continues to cleanly power my projects and kits. I currently have no reason to suspect that it won't. Thus, barring any differing results as time goes on, I would have to say that I would buy this adapter again for this price.

Exactly what I needed
I needed this for a wireless system I use for my guitar. I had a hard time finding a replacement 9v power supply. I needed a reverse polarity adapter and I found this one on Amazon at a great price. The old adapter had a short cord, which was a pain because I attach my wireless on top of my amp, which is on an amp stand. This one has a much longer cord and works way better in the situation I use it for. I couldn’t be happier!

Purchased for my incumbent bike and woks great
Wasn’t able to use my incumbent bike because kids broke the adapter. This one worked and I’m back to riding!

Very good quality but a little noisy for very sensitive electronics.
No good for sensitive electronics (see update below). I paid a little extra hoping for good quality input for a DSO 150 based oscilloscope. The scope runs great on regulated 9V DC, but there is so much high frequency switching noise from this adapter, the noise overwhelms the signal being displayed with enormous spikes. Checked the output on my old Conar 250 scope which clearly showed the noise. Also, not a killer, but I expected something closer to 9V than the 9.5V it puts out. Guess I'll just add a home-made filter rather than return it.UPDATE: I have upgraded to 4 stars because I was a little harsh, and it turns out the oscilloscope itself has weak noise filtering on the input. This will be a great AC adapter if the manufacturer can add some filtering. The quality is really good otherwise and the noise pulses are actually only about 0.1 V and won't have any affect on most devices. They have responded to my complaint and seem eager to improve the product. It will work great for most uses, just not so great on very sensitive electronic gadgets.

I Bought Knowing It Might Not Work
I purchased this after reading the disclaimer and warnings about usage. My device wasn't listed as compatible but I needed power for an audio interface that has a positive tip. Most guitar pedals and other music devices are negative. Decided to try it and it doesn't work with my device. It was my gamble so I won't send it back or ask for a refund.Positively great in processing and delivering my order! Can't be more positive about the unit and the seller! Wish it had worked so I'm writing this to allow others to know that it doesn't work for items other than specified. Thanks to the seller for their professionalism and clarity!

Fixed issue with cellphone amplifier
Had ordered a cell phone booster a ordered ago and due to constant power outages fried the power supply. This fixed the problem with it.

GREAT but not for Brother P-touch Lable Makers
First off this 9V adaptor works just fine. It is a Center Positive power supply meaning that it is NORMAL. That is the way most adaptors are wired and it means that the outside of the connector (9volt end not the 120volt AC end) is Negative or ground (black wire) and the center (inside the cylinder) is positive or hot (red wire). It also means that if you try to used this for some items like Brothers label makers it will not work as Brother’s is trying to get you to buy their adaptors for like three times the price! So use the term “Tip Negative (-) design” when you search for an adaptor.I was able to adapt this adaptor by opening it up and un-soldiering the black and red leads and switching them and re-soldiering them back on. Don’t try this if you are not comfortable with electronics etc.

Unlike most, this delivers 1500ma as promised
I use a lot of these for my Arduino projects and I've tried many random brands. This one actually delivers the 1500ma it says it does. I can tell because it drives my thermal printer, whereas many other 1500ma and 2000ma 9vdc adapters I've tried don't have enough power to generate dark letters on the thermal paper.
