Best customer service!!
We purchased a replacement propane gas detector for our RV. They are only rated to last 5 years. For what ever reason it only lasted less than 2 yrs. I contacted customer service to see if they could do anything for me. Nancy replied back almost instantly. She was wonderful!! You just don’t get this kind of service in this new world today. We were scheduled to leave for a camping trip in a week and a half. She had it here in time for hubby to get it installed before we pulled out. Nancy and her company are great!!! Highly recommend them.

Easy to install, I put it on a switch so it will not run down the batteries when not in use.

Inaccurate waste of time and money false alarms(or not?)
This product is a waste of money, but worse a cause of great stress. Just imagine being camped somewhere and all the sudden you get readings in the danger zone just before bed time and nowhere is open? Now imagine you take it seriously like you should shut off your propane lie there paranoid with all the windows open. Then the next day buy 2 other detectors including a Kidde and they're not giving you any indication of a propane leak so then you buy an electronic propane sniffer and again discover no leak. I was lying on the bed in my RV and I noticed the numbers flashing on the screen. I was getting readings in the 70s the up throw 80s and 90s. That would be a very dangerous situation if it were accurate. Long story short I removed this detector and placed it outside in the fresh air and attached it to a fully charged car battery and it still gave a reading of 83%. Clearly junk. The other issue is it made no audible sound during these high percentages. So not only is it giving false readings but it wouldn't have alerted me even if they were real. Very scary. Yes my coach batteries were fully charged. There is no excusing this. When your life could depend on something there should be a very low tolerance for error. That is not the case with this product. I just spent the extra money on a quality product that comes standard in many RVs including mine and I have been at ease ever since. Nice try but this product needs a lot of work on QC and fault tolerance. If I had to choose between no alarm or a false alarm I would certainly choose false...but thankfully there is a third option...a quality detector. Save yourself from a scenario like this one. Cheers.
