Q: Can this be put in the bottom of a loaf shaped mold for soap? Maybe cut to size?

It is a large mat. It would easily be cut to size and it’s why I bought mine. I haven’t used it yet but the quality seems good.

Q: Could this be used to emboss pie crust when rolling?

Yes absolutely!! Make sure you flour the mat well so it doesn’t stick. I use mine to emboss the backside of my sugar cookies, so I powder it with confectioners sugar :)

Q: will this melt when 120 degree soap mixture is poured over it in a soap mold?

No, it will not melt at that temperature. I use it for forming melt and pour soap all the time and it works just fine.

Q: Can it go in an oven for freshies?

Yes! I love this mat for car freshies!!
