and I think the reception is actually a bit better. Fits fast, packed nicely and no messing around with the antenna when I hit the car wash.

Installing in place of the original antenna on a 2018 GMC Sierra may require a strap wrench to install. The GM factory applied thread locker residue makes installing by hand difficult to say the least. Radio signal reception is also greatly diminished contrary to the seller's statement.

Works great in the City, but can be spotty (fades) outside the City. Which the oem antenna didn't experience. Overall a good antenna.

This is hands down the BEST accessory for your vehicle. It looks great, very stealthy and works like a charm. The quality is a great very sturdy metal and you can tell quality just pulling out the box. Customer service was amazing they contacted me to make sure I received the product and to make sure I was satisfied with it. That is what customer support should be like. I will be buying again and recommending this product for sure. Also my radio stations a crispy clear and no interruption.

I drive a 2018 GMC Sierra - I hated how long the antenna was. So I was reading and reviewing and felt this was the better one to select. While it certainly fits the criteria for being short and durable, the reception sucks. I live in Kansas City, MO. So not exactly a tough or rough terrain. I live in a lake community, so we have a few hills. Anytime I am below the tree line or driving down a hill, my reception goes immediately. You can still hear it, but it cuts out and is faint. I'll keep it, but only b/c I Bluetooth 90% of my music. If I was an avid radio fan, I'd 100% pass.

I was looking for a reliable, sturdy antenna for my GMV sierra truck, that would not break off or get damaged during a car wash. I believe this was a good choice, because the antenna is small but very sturdy and still provides clear fm radio reception. Please know that this antenna will not pick up HD radio stations, just to be clear.
