Great educational puzzle toy(?) for children !
My daughter-in-law who is a first grade teacher loves this globe almost as much as my grandbaby who just turned 5 ! He quickly figured out the puzzle PLUS he knows the names and can relate them to an adult globe, world maps , and geographic educational programs on TV .

Educational puzzle that is easy for three-year-old
The media could not be loaded. You have to put the stickers on yourself but my son is having fun with this puzzle.

Received as gift - absolutely amazing
My 2.5 year old loves this thing! He spins the globe saying, 'Where are we going now?!' And by saying, I mean screaming! He uses the regular globe at my parent's house, but this is a great puzzle to simplify things. It has good shapes, colors, and pictures of animals to help in the learning process. Pieces do fall out easily if dropped, but just try not to knock it over (easier said than done for a toddler).

Excellent educational tool!
As a nanny who was a former preschool teacher, I often purchase items that ensure to be fun & educational. I've purchased previous items from Learning Resources & I wad looking forward to this one!I was a bit flabbergasted when I received it bc I realized I had to put it together & it only had 6 continents!? I knew from my education that Earth has 7 continents. I immediately calmed down bc the realization as to why the 7th was missing hit me. The "missing" piece is Antarctica. It's missing bc it's on the very bottom of the globe. They can't put one there bc it would fall out since it's a puzzle. LOL!My only issue besides that was that you have to put it COMPLETELY together yourself. It includes all of the stickers/labels, but you're required to apply them. It doesn't come pre-labeled. It also doesn't come with directions, so if you don't know your continents, you better hop on Google to learn them! Otherwise, you may make a mistake & teach a child the wrong information. The good thing is that the labels are color coded, so you may not struggle too much with which stickers match the continents. However, you'll need to make sure you place the continents in the correct places. It's a bit crowded, since it's not a large globe. I was fine with the placement of continents. I only wish it came with the stickers on it bc I have a neurological issue that causes my hands to shake a little, so it WASN'T easy applying the stickers perfectly, nor was it easy to peel off the stickers from the paper they're originally attached to. Several times, I had to take them off & reapply them. If you have shaky hands like me, I recommend having someone assist you to ensure your stickers are applied well the first time, so they won't be curling at the ends due to reapplications. Also, make sure that if you purchased this item for a toddler, stay by their side when they play with this bc of the name plates for each continent being a bit smaller sized. I imagine it can be a bit of a choking hazard since toddlers love to put everything in their mouths.Other than that, it's an excellent learning resource that promises to be educational, enjoyable, & fun!

ALL-AROUND EXCELLENT TEACHING TOOL!!!
The media could not be loaded. First off, fellow humankind caregivers, this fun thing was way more exciting than I thought it would be because of HOW MUCH IT CAN TEACH!I purchased this globe for my 5 and 7 year old so we could learn about the world's geography. (I am active duty military and their dad is currently overseas. I wanted to use it to incorporate the distance from "home" to where their Daddy is to help give them a sense of why it's night time for Dad but morning time where we are. With ours being a military family, I was also able to show them the places that we have all been, where their Grandparents live, and what ocean we swim in when we go to the beach (....This one blew their ever-growing minds!!!!)But the best part is that it comes with an activity guide that gives your children a TON of facts and pictures. Each sticker has a color-coded outline that coincides with the color of the continents that your kiddos will place around the globe by using shape-matching pieces. It is STILL giving us learning opportunities and table-talk during mealtimes! Highly recommended for any age child who is a visual learner, perfect for the classroom or learning at home!

Good idea, poor execution
I really like the idea of this globe, but there are some definite flaws in the execution. All of the continent and ocean labels, as well as the additional pictures showing landmarks and animals, are stickers that you must apply. I was not prepared for that, and so it was super fun on Christmas morning, trying to apply a ton of tiny stickers in a very precise way while my 3 year old was crying because he couldn't play with it. Also, Australia keeps falling off the globe, as does the label piece for South America. This is incredibly annoying. Ultimately, it's cute and my son likes it, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Great learning resource
The globe was purchased for the 3 y.o. group in kindergarten to learn about the continents. Children loved playing with it and asked many questions. All the parts are safe and strong enough for little children. The only issue is that some continents on the bottom of the globe keep falling out when spinning it. I’ve tried to reinforce them with rubber bands but still did not succeed. But for little children it’s fine, anyway they take the parts out all the time and move them around. It’s nice that each continent has particular shape hole which help children to attach the continents appropriately and also it’s a great opportunity to learn the shapes names.
