Seems like it works!
I have a Gigabyte X99P-SLI motherboard. It has a socket for a TPM module. Windows 11 will probably require it. The socket is empty in my MB. Although it might be nice to replace the entire MB with a newer one that has TPM built in, this is still a lot of work reconfiguring everything. So, been looking for a TPM module to plug into my current MB. Hard to find! Gigabyte makes some but could only find one on eby for $129.00! Yipes, more cost effective to invest in a new MB.... but still more work for me.Looked on Amazon and found this one. Not too much info with it, same with manufacturers website. So, would it work on my Gigabyte MB? A lot cheaper than $129.00 so decided to take a chance. It's a TPM module, same # of pins(important), should work I think. If it doesn't the I've only lost some money I can live without. Let's roll the dice!Shipped fast. Got it, plugged it in and all seems to be working fine according to System info and BIOS. It automatically showed up in the BIOS so I didn't have to change anything there. Guess I will really know for sure when I get Windows 11 but all looks fine right now. Whew!Images attached.

Fast shipping, Works as advertised
I ordered this for my older Asus Rampage V Extreme motherboard, which has an unpopulated 20-pin TPM socket out of the box, rather than the built-in TPM most newer MB's have.Received the chip a couple of days after ordering, and after plugging it in, and updating my BIOS to the newest 4101 version, it's recognized just fine.

Works on my ASUS Z97 motherboard
With the arrival of Windows 11 I bought this TPM to use on my old ASUS motherboard. Unfortunately the motherboard does not support version 2.0 and I had to downgrade to version 1.2. With the installation of the TPM module I gained access to the Windows Insider Dev Channel and installed the Windows 11 Insider Preview.
