From the Manufacturer Also called Wapiti, an Indian word meaning light-colored deer, elk are a large member of the deer family weighing 700 pounds and standing five feet high at the soldier. Their antlers are most prominent feature which may reach four feet above its head and can weigh 40 pounds. The antlers are lost in March but grow back in time for the late summer breeding season which often involves violent clashes as they fight for dominance of the females. Came broken, but...
The base came broken off at the hooves but I was able to super glue it back together. Delivered by USPS, so it's a good chance it's their fault. Looks good as new now though.

Overpriced but ok
It's a nice looking elk, but it is very small and very lightweight. So just be aware of that. It's WAY overpriced for what it is. You could probably pick up something similar for under $5, but I had a specific reason for needing it quickly and needing this species of animal so I bit the bullet and paid the price.

Small, but very realistic.
I have recently gotten very obsessed with elk, and this was a very nice and real looking figurine of an elk. But i have a few complaints...1. Very small.2. Way overpriced.3. Small chip in left hoove. (just for me)Overall, awesome! Keep up the good work.
