Winsor & NewtonCotman Watercolour, 'Floral Pocket Set' , 8 x Half Pans + 1 Travel Brush

I love the colours and quality of these paints. I got this handy little palette to bring with on a trip and it is now part of a compact painters kit for traveling or to grab when I am going over to a friend for a painting session. The basic colours can mix many different colours that may be needed, but there is also spaces to add some pans of other colours.

I'm a true beginner so have no especial expertise to add to this review, but I am enjoying the warm colours for the nature subjects I gravitate towards; the limited colour selection is curated well to go together. Sufficient pigmentation for a hobbyist and comes in a cute little travel container that I'm excited to take out and about on adventures.

This set does what it says - it fits in your pocket. Not much bigger than a mobile phone, it’s a dinky little set with the main colours you need. The brush isn’t great but most people use their own favourites anyway. I’m simply an amateur, a dabbler rather than any kind of artist, but I can appreciate the quality of these paints. The depth of colour is good and this is the real deal, as you’d expect from this brand.The one quibble I have is the value - their other sets represent far better value, in my opinion.

Most of all I love the compact nature of this product; its lovely colours for use with florals and especially the brush which comes with the pallet. It’s not too expensive for the absolute beginners -such as myself.

Nice little box with good choice of pans. Chose this as it has the colours I seem to use most of and needed to replace in bigger paint box. You get 8 half pans for less than just buying 2 individuals. Recommended.

The paints have really good pigment. The set is small enough for pocket and well designed. The colours in the box are an excellent choice, and the brush included is surprisingly usable. I'm really enjoying using these. They would also make an excellent Xmas or birthday present. 100% recommended.

I love this compact. I’m a big Windsor and newton fan and this didn’t disappoint. I particularly love the blue. . I like it that all the colors coordinate. Will buy again

These paint colors are beautiful. This is a wonderful palette for florals. Colors are vibrant. Nice small size palette for on the go.

Perfect colors for landscaping, I wish they filled out all the empty slots though.
