Focusrite Clarett+ 2Pre USB-C Bus-Powered Audio Interface for Music Production, with Two Professional Quality Pre-Amps and Powerful and Transparent Headphone Outputs/Instrument Inputs

So this thing is portable. If you do not have a place to plug in the main power, or youre in the car, or whatever, forget it! Just run the USB-C to your laptop and runs off of your laptops battery! Very helpful given my drums are not in the same room with my guitars and desk.

The media could not be loaded.  I've had the UAD, the Apogee and they are of course top notch. But you see the warmth and intelligence of this guy right here is so soothing! No over exaggeration of output, what you put in is what you get. The response to my plug-ins is just too awesome. This is my 3rd focusrite product. This stays with me.

I liked the sound quality and the range, 24 bit is a quite native but does not support 24 bit and 192 kHz at the same time which is a weird thing, many products are much cheaper than it and they support it.If you activate 24bit with 192kHz the device has Alzheimer's disease or madness, frankly, I was confused about what exactly and nothing can be done but factory reset.regardless what a problem I faced it is a quite good audio interface.

I bought this audio interface after some research on audio interfaces. The reason I bought it is because I also bought the Shure mic, which needs an audio interface. This would be my first audio interface. Unfortunately, I ended up returning all products. Not because of the product but because my lack of audio engineering.In my setup, this is connected directly to the Square Mic, the sound is so low even after I turned the gain to max. Some research indicated I might need the "Cloud" booster device. that leads to the final return decision. My mistake here is not knowing enough audio engineering. So be warned, this is not for everyday users.So be warned, if you plan to use this with the Shure mic, you also need a signal booster. My recommendation is just use the USB mic and be done with it. It is really not worth it to get all those products and go through a whole course of "audio engineering" just to make a somewhat "working" system.

Was having trouble with my favorite Focusrite on the new M1. (Clarett 8pre / Thunderbolt) Switched to this smaller unit and it's had absolutely zero issues in 3 months. Same great sound quality but better drivers with the Usb C interface.

They removed certain features on this premium device such as loopback audio which is available in older and cheaper models. Also, the software really ruins what could be a great product.I would probably rate this much higher if they fixed the software on this expensive interface.

Perfecta. No hubo problema en la calidad ni en el momento de llegada.

While more expensive than the same port count Focusrite unit, I prefer the Clarett+ preamps. They have less colouration and sound better, in my opinion, for vocals and mic’d acoustic guitars. While the UA units do have, imo, nicer preamps, this is about ¼ the cost. I like it so much I bought a second one.

Bislang habe ich ein Motu m4 für die Aufnahme von Gitarre, Gesang und E-Piano genutzt. Mit diesem Gerät bin ich insgesamt sehr zufrieden, insbesondere wenn man den Preis (unter 300 EUR) in die Bewertung mit einbezieht. Auf der Suche nach mehr "Eingangskanälen" war Motu daher auch die erste Wahl (UltraLite mk5). Das Focusrite war die zweite Wahl... und ich bin begeistert. Die Installation ist in der Mac Umgebung ohnehin eher kein Problem, kein Rauschen, kein Knacken. Toller Klang. Die Verbesserung der Soundqualität empfinde ich als herausragend.... und darauf kommt es ja an.Jetzt frage ich mich natürlich wie wohl ein RME Fireface oder ein Antelope Orion.... der Feind des Guten ist halt das Bessere.... Stand heute: absolute Empfehlung.

La calidad de esta Clarett+ pre es exquisita, con una nitidez cristalina al menos en la voz, estoy muy contento con la compra, aún no he probado a instrumentos y canales.

Provengo da una Scarlett 6i6 di seconda generazione che con il tempo ha avuto diversi malfunzionamenti. Con questa Clarett ho fatto un bel salto di qualità mantenendo comunque lo stile Focusrite per quanto riguarda la parte software, quindi nulla di nuovo da imparare. Non un abisso di differenza riguardo la qualità d'ascolto ma come funzionalità un passo avanti. La risposta del pomello del volume è decisamente migliorata. L'uscita cuffie (qui una in meno rispetto a Scarlett) la trovo adeguata con cuffie 55 Ohm. Consigliata.
