Item as described, ended up being a disappointment.
I would have given this product 5 stars, Unfortunately I’ve dropped stars off because the diamond was missing and for the blisters I received on my hands after turning the cubes into a fine powder in hunt for the non existent diamond. It left my 6 year old disappointed on his birthday as it was the stone he was most looking forward to finding. This was unfortunate as we had a lot of fun in the beginning.

Great to be separate
I got this for my daughters 6 birthday so she loves collecting rocks in walks. This set is great as it has all the gems separate so it doesn’t all get done in one go.The gems included are all different and have an information card too so we can learn about them. The little display set is very nice addition. All the tools needed to chip away and discover the gems are included. It’s messy but great fun

Gemstones
Not opened it or used it yet as it is a Christmas present 🎁, but it has a good weight to it and looks very good.

Kept daughter fascinated for days
Daughter loved it, took her ages to dig them all out. Bit hard to determine what some of them were though, and a few mistakes/misprints etc on cards, but forgivable based on my daughters enjoyment.A little dubious as to the authenticity of some stones - if that is a real diamond then its DEFINITELY well-worth the money spent!

Broken tools
When my kids opened up this product they were really excited to excavate some stones! Upon picking up the tools the hammer head slid right off the handle, and would not stay on at all. Upon gluing the damn thing to get it to stay on we tried again, and the wooden chisel snapped in half. They resorted to digging into it with the plastic tools which ended up bent because the hammer still didn’t work. Very disappointed at the quality of the tools. Rocks looked cool though, although every single one was a square shape and didn’t match the images on the cards, making it pretty difficult to decipher which was which I’m some instances.
