Q: Can i use the same ssid on 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz and have the router auto switch for best connection?

Yes, you can, and I recommend doing just that. Setting your primary ssid the same on the primary channel gives your 2.4/5 Ghz devices the choice of which band they can run on. Your primary channel is behind the firewall, so only use/give out that password to someone trusted who with that info will be able to access your internal network. The WAX206 has 2 additional channels available (both 2.4/5 Ghz ) that are beyond the firewall and cannot access your internal network. Activate one of those with separate different ssid and password for a guest network (2.4 & 5 Ghz) to give others access to internet without compromising your primary network channel security. The WAX206 has a total of 3 channels, all have both 2.4 & 5 Ghz each. 1 is primary with firewall and 2 are guest/aux channels outside the firewall protected primary channel. The 2 spare channels can be used for anything you want like security cameras, media players, ect... Using the secondary channels keeps your kids/guest from over taxing all your primary channel bandwidth too.

WAX206 adapters have country specific plugs and power supply. You will have to find the same output that has an autovolt feature 110v-220v or an adapter specific to your region that will have the same DC output
