It works well for blending spices in coffee which is all I want it for.

For a FOAMER, it probably works fine. I just received it and will try it - it is for liquids only. I wanted a hand blender which is the title of the item but nowhere in the packaging does it state blender. If the item title had stated Foamer, I probably would not have bought it.
