I did buy this book as a splurge to feed my passion for fashion and it's history. This book is a great inspiration and gives me great aspirations for my designs.

If you love fashion and Anna sui then this is the book for you. It is mostly runway photos and some her editorials and ads.

This is a must have for any fashion collector, fan of Ms. Sui's work, and students! The introduction by Meisel is amazing (and rare as he rarely does any interviews), the photography is inspiring, and the runway photos have been carefully edited so that you really get a great sense of what each collection was about. A genius book on a genius subject.

I didn't care much about coffee table books until I saw this beautiful book displayed in a store. Anna Sui is one of my favorite designers, so I went online to order it (for much cheaper than they were selling it in-store). The spread inside features designs of hers over the years so it's basically like a designer timeline. After proudly displaying this gorgeous book on my table, I now collect other beautiful fashion and art books like this to adorn my tables and bookshelves, and it all started with this beauty.

１９９１年の秋と冬のfirst runway collectionから、１９９２～２００９年の４シーズンのコレクション、写真が多く読み応えは十分。近年はもちろん、９１年のデザインを見ても「古い」と感じない斬新さと独特のテイスト。圧巻のオールカラーで、ほとんどのページが写真入りで無駄なページが殆どなく、満足度が高かったです。読んでいてアナスイのお店の中を見ているようなワクワク感がありました。季節というより時期というものがあるのか、黒を基調にしたデザイン、赤をテーマにしたシーズン、アーバンクールビューティといった都会的なデザインからボヘミアンスタイルと、本来のフェミニンな魅力を失わないまま色々な姿を見せてくれます。見開きのモデルのアップ写真も芸術的でとにかく綺麗。かなり大きな本ですが規格外のサイズではなく、厚手のアルバムのようなつくりでカバーつき、ファイルキャビネットで保存できます。
